So today's plans basically have occurred without incident or much of anything which I would consider to be particularly extraordinary. Our decision to see the earliest showing of Avengers turned out to be rather prudent since the line to see the showing after ours had about fifty people in it, and that was just outside of the actual hall entrance, as well as it being for one of three screens that they were running it on. Then off to Fashion Bug so that my wife's friend could procure a set of proper jeans instead of being in her work slacks, then booze, Half-Price Books, and the mall. Whenever the child gets a gift of money or a gift certificate he literally both immediately decides what he intends to spend that money upon and refuses to relent talking about it until he does so. Last night in our midnight store run I managed to convince him to hold off on buying some Hunger Games books until today to see if Half Price would have them for cheaper. I figured that with it being mass produced and popular that Half Price would have a glut of the books. As it turns out they don't, so that visit there turned out to be short and unimpressive, which is a bit depressing since I find the store enjoyable enough. I managed to find a 1980 Chicago Police Officer manual there for $7 - things like that you can scarcely find anywhere else on a physical shelf. The child got Super Paper Mario from a Gamestop inside the mall (because the store we were at the night prior was sold out of it, and a Play N Trade we went to earlier didn't have it), and from there we proceeded to sit in a restaurant for pizza. Most of the time was spent with my wife half-asleep, her friend mostly interested in the Tigers / White Sox game, and most of the conversation being initiated myself and carrying little traction.

Extra Mode. A few crashes already and it took a bit to get into a proper mindset.

I couldn't take the crashes anymore and reverted to a previous version. I believe that's just what I needed, as I didn't get a single crash since doing so. I certainly felt lethargic at the beginning but I finally got to a point of feeling energized. Good.
