I may have managed to avoid the heavy rain yesterday, but I still spent most of the day being soaked today. I was one of two scheduled cartmen who shown up for the occasion. At least it was warm enough to not bother working while being drenched, and the Monday volume meant it was possible to catch up despite the shorthandedness. Otherwise there was nothing remarkable in the course of the day - no incidents, nothing broke which hasn't already been broke.

Extra Mode. Now with a hair more more Random. It seems like I needed less easy songs to warm up to feel ready.

So sad about ICF5800; breezed through most of the chart OK, even at the second half climax where most of the added notes are found, then failed at 72% in the last measure with bad chord scratches. I'll get it someday. I had to play a lot of really nasty charts today - Least 100, Colorful Cookie, Infinite Cave, Around the Galaxy, Drunk Monky are all shitstorms that are barely legible. I'm not even remotely irritated by playing some of them so poorly, as there's just no way to really get anywhere with them. I definitely pounded out a large quantity of notes in today's run.
