My wife has a Cintiq 21UX which has served her very well for some time now, and has had one major repair on it done for free where some ghosting started to come around. One thing which Wacom will not replace for free, however, is scratching that comes about on the plastic protective surface which starts and spreads due to the plastic nub of the pen wearing down to a fine point which progressively digs into the skin. Sending the screen in to Wacom for resurfacing costs $200. I tried using some car wax on it today, on the basis that car wax tends to help cover up cosmetic car body scratches. It didn't do the trick but the slicker surface combined with a new nib in the pen helped prevent the pen from scraping against the scratches, which is what was frustrating her the most. Glad to have helped out that much. I wish she would have been purchasing and replacing the nibs more frequently if this is all it would have taken to prevent the damage to the screen. Regardless, all that matters is that she doesn't have issue with drawing on the screen anymore.

The simple act of keeping my head down after choosing a song is enough to keep what I'm playing a surprise until the chart rolls, and I find that very exciting. Another ominous opening today with Waxing, but it isn't the LR2 take on it and since I played it so horribly before, I didn't suffer that much worse in stumbling through it now. I think I recall saying that I wasn't a big fan of NNRT when I first played it, and subsequently warmed to it, and now I find it a pretty good song except for the rather abrupt and awkward ending. No Noria today, but Samba De Janeiro came about again, and I was ready to flush it but it felt like I had a good Random with it, so I stayed and had a fortunate result in doing so. Not surprised to have done so poorly with 3y3s, seeing as how it's cluttered all to hell and random just makes it worse all around. Another pretty good day overall.
