A restful day so far. My pace over the weekend left me little time to sleep, so my body took the chance to catch up on it today. At least I did do something of import by taking the time to pull out all of the new growth which was sprouting by the perimeter of the house, which threatened to dig its roots into the foundation. In the front of the house there was one stump in particular which had a few feet of length on it and took considerable effort to remove, even after digging around and chopping away most of the roots with the shovel. Before doing all of this I purchased some vegetation killer and sprayed around all of the areas from which I removed greenery. After one hour of play, I don't get Akai Katana quite yet. I feel like I'm missing something fundamental about it.

I played the song Glory To Stormwind and it was another issue where the song simply wouldn't terminate. I let it run for around five minutes before giving up on it, because with some of these fan songs in particular, some of them took several seconds longer than normal to end because the Extra Mode chart of it would find some terminal silent note that kept it running to that point. No such luck here. I recall disliking Endless Dance before, but I think that was probably more due to volume control since it wasn't as grating to me this time. The vocals are still definitely bad but at least it didn't pierce the ear drums the same way now.
