One of the two-way radios which I purchased for work use decided to pick up static for the last hour of my work shift today, and I'm not sure how to make it refrain from doing so. I don't think this is a mere ambient interference issue, because changing the security channel on it to something non-standard still causes a bit of the empty air to be received, though at least not for the entire time as compared to the standard station. Regardless, it's enough of an issue to make me concerned for the longevity of my radio and making me wonder if I'll have to purchase another one or have it somehow serviced. I purchased the pair for $50 and it retails for $80 at the manufacturer's website. I can't imagine any sort of repair being worth appreciably less than buying a new set.

Extra Mode. I left behind a maximum of four songs left to play from BOF 2011, so from there I will move on to completely new territory to play songs from other folders which I have and haven't played for EX purposes, and in many cases, likely at all. The first series of this will come from a folder compiling eight stages of an unfortunately titled event called the B.J. Cup (refer: http://bms.ms/~bmsjournal/event/).

Interesting results. 夢語 ("dreamspeak", if I may translate) didn't have any sort of increase at all before, but that was playing the long note version of the song. This time that chart wasn't readily available to I just played the legacy version of it, so to speak, and found a substantial increase. The title was curtailed to fit the column, but the song "Hurt, Scenery, Groundrainbow" actually was well done and nice to play after the initial 30 seconds of nothing scrolled by. Maybe I should make a claim now of there being a light at the end of the tunnel in playing new charts so that when I'm done going through the new content, the program is updated to work with the songs which I've had to skip.
