Typical retail Saturday combined with holiday weekend and decent outdoor heat all adds up to another exhausting day. Nothing new to report from that. However, this is the weekend that my sister decided that she wanted to have a line of small evergreen plants at the rear of her property. This required a rectangular strip of eight by twenty feet to be dug up so that there would be no grass in the area which would inhibit the growth of the new trees. She called while I was at work, so I wasn't able to help her move the trees from the nursery to a truck so that they could be taken to her place. She called again later to help with the desodding process, and in mentioning that my parents would be coming to help, I was essentially forced to volunteer and assist in the project. Nothing says capping off an eight hour stint of retail outdoor grunt work like going home to eat dinner, then going to a house to do another two hours of outdoor grunt work, so that I can return for more retail outdoor grunt work within ten hours of completing that task. The forecasts all expect Sunday to have a high of at least 95. I cannot wait.

Most of the songs here are at least serviceable and nothing really struck me as horrifically bad, as I would regard a fair number of songs from any given BOF set or otherwise. LB EX found the notes in the middle of Aliceblue which I haven't played before and were otherwise in the background, which left a span of about ten seconds without a note to play in the normal chart. Funny Crasher is the worst song of this set, but at very least it had some restraint in not featuring wacky vocals with the intent of being as grating as possible. Again, I've heard worse. The other songs also didn't become absurd 3000 note shitfests and most of them were merely very difficult as opposed to the fabled "impossible".
