At retail work, the only guy scheduled to start in the morning called off, so I was by myself. Otherwise, same ol' song about busted equipment and pain and whining and bleah. I was only there as a write-in for half of a shift because today is the day that my cousin decided to hold a party for her high school graduation. The location is a restaurant which is a two hour drive from where I live. With my wife having work early in the morning to consider, and the rest of my immediate family otherwise indisposed, I was the only person who had the chance to make it there. So I did. I dressed in one of my suits for the occasion, since I have few events to wear them for at present - while the reaction was positive, I did say that it set a terrible precedent for myself in that I would now be expected to do so for any other graduation party. The graduate's older sister has a new boyfriend who is neck deep into Diablo 3 so I might have a third consistent co-player for the game, if her tales of his obsession are to be believed. There was only one friend present at the event and everyone else was family. I can't say I'm terribly surprised, neither in there not being a mass assembly of friends there, nor that I spent a fair amount of time conversing directly with her while my cousin sat between us and stared silently into middle distance. The road I traveled to get there consisted of parts which I never drove on before, and was fraught with one lane construction zones. I chose a different way to get home, and had to detour because there was an accident which blocked all lanes, including the shoulders, further down the road. I think this is the first time I've ever had a message appear on those Amber Alert signs which was actually helpful.

I don't have enough time right now to hunt down the Japanese titled songs that are left in the folder so I elected to do some cleanup of the IIDX CS folder to finish off the session. I moved the B14 folders to their proper locations for Empress and such but I forgot to do so for those from Troopers. I don't know if it's the amount of driving or the driving in the summer sunlight (despite the temperature not being unbearable), but today was not a good day for me to encounter these kind of charts. I can't shake this ever-so-slight lightheaded feeling and there were only a few songs I played that I felt like I attacked with proper focus and stamina.
