After buying a cheap MP3 player to listen to the TNL podcasts, I came to realize that I had the world of podcasts to now listen to if I desired; and given the alternative to it being at the mercy of either NPR or five minutes of music followed by fifteen minutes of commercials, the choice to dive in was rather easy. I found a place to get the first 300 episodes of This American Live and have started to listen to them from the beginning, which means that the shows which I've been hearing were recorded in the mid 1990s. I'm glad that the stage play segments didn't stay around for long. Otherwise, it's quite striking how innocent and dated the content is. A contributor is stated as having a column published "on the world wide web", and a website is given with the spoken "h tee tee pee colon backslash backslash" spelling. A segment about those inflicted with OCD mentions Prozac as being an experimental drug. A segment about the Jordan era Bulls repeatedly features the Gary Glitter song which was the defacto anthem for the team at the time. 1990 was 20 years ago, and content like this drives that reality home.
Extra Mode. The usual.
I didn't talk about retail work earlier because nothing about it was new, but it was relatively warm and I had little coworker assistance, so I think I might have been worn out. Otherwise maybe it's another case of the pendulum swinging and for every good day like yesterday there's a bad day like today; but that is over dramatization regardless, because outside of 3y3s (which is a mess with its normal chart, so Random will just make it worse) I didn't have terrifically terrible scores. No plusses, yes, but there wasn't a repeated stretch of completely worthless play. Solros would have been the last song recorded but I think I now see the issue that happens when songs with long notes get hung by the program. I noticed that some of the extra notes from the mode found their way in the middle of the hold note columns.Code:EX% & Rank EX.p/f pg.gr.gd.bd.pr combo nc onc %+ date no crime @ 38.52 D 1339.F 468.403.432.182.573 0141 2012-06-08T23:38:23:913Z 0194- 0021- soliton beam @ 49.82 C 1733.F 616.501.378.82.326 0179 2012-06-08T23:41:24:910Z 0097- 0044- 嘆きの樹 @ 38.92 D 1795.F 621.553.524.219.886 0092 2012-06-08T23:44:47:513Z 0087- 0001- sigsig @ 56.57 B 1737.F 636.465.269.38.252 0117 2012-06-08T23:47:52:273Z 0128- 0015+ there is no telling @ 53.21 C 2054.F 770.514.353.61.402 0037 2012-06-08T23:51:30:038Z 0157- 0021- make a difference @ 51.31 C 1519.F 553.413.316.46.237 0094 2012-06-08T23:56:47:838Z 0122- 0037- 3y3s @ 26.99 E 1500.F 486.528.902.308.1141 0036 2012-06-08T23:59:42:134Z 0342- 0024- 玉の緒よ @ 57.72 B 1913.F 692.529.282.28.200 0125 2012-06-09T00:05:16:591Z 0090- 0097- fake time @ 55.25 C 1429.F 518.393.254.36.180 0099 2012-06-09T00:08:05:649Z 0118- 0137- 2 tribe 4k @ 51.84 C 1688.F 625.438.342.58.299 0063 2012-06-09T00:11:13:316Z 0170- 0174- agnus dei @ 50.51 C 1481.F 537.407.292.62.304 0064 2012-06-09T00:14:07:551Z 0118- 0013+ black rain @ 49.54 C 1301.F 472.357.252.29.298 0068 2012-06-09T00:16:53:792Z 0020- 0001- the deep striker @ 41.78 D 1521.F 502.517.516.57.411 0093 2012-06-09T00:20:33:660Z 0082- 0015+ smooooch @ 51.29 C 1703.F 615.473.327.59.411 0113 2012-06-09T00:25:18:923Z 0178- 0048- beatchic☆仮面 @ 58.04 B 1703.F 640.423.223.41.267 0085 2012-06-09T00:29:29:947Z 0151- 0039- regulus @ 59.65 B 1310.F 474.362.196.13.91 0146 2012-06-09T00:32:37:191Z 0079- 0019-
