Tomorrow, I need to buy a tube of silicon caulk and a gun to shoot it so that I can do some detailing around parts of the outside, so that I can seal off cracks where seeds can creep into and begin to sprout plants. Tomorrow, I also need to take the time to pay all the utility bills and write a check for the CC payment. Speaking of the CC bill, I wonder when I'll get back to playing Akai Katana.

In the middle of work yesterday, I was called by a recruiter who my sister was working with a few months ago and received my information from her. I asked her to call back today, which she did - at 10AM, after I went to bed at 430AM. The issue isn't with the timing, as much as the fact that the only reason that she called was to remind me that she hasn't completely forgotten about me and is still on the look out for things. I appreciate knowing that she is aware that I still exist, yes, but I can't help but wonder why she did feel the need to call me in the first place if that's the only thing which she had to say. Things like this are what email is for, right?

On the bad days, I think I should quit because I worry that I'm becoming worse over time and that any ability that I have reached an apex some time ago. On the good days, like this, I think I should quit because I'll not likely have many other days like it where everything feels like it is better than I ever dared to imagine. A streak of twelve increases and 14 out of 17 songs played is pretty much the best session I've ever had, at least that I can distinctly recall. I didn't even think that I did so well with So Real and figured to be in for another day of lackluster play, but I wasn't that far off after all. Next comes a clear of Power Dream, which I likely failed just because I was lazy about the jacks, and the boulder rolled on from there. That I didn't have distinct increases with VIP or Kung Fu isn't very distressing, as Random modifiers of 3000+ note charts usually don't lead to anything good, not to mention that the decreases weren't substantially less to begin with.
