And just like that, I am done with a year's worth of updates to the tax code for purposes of my project.

While I did foresee the changes with MAP-21 being extensive, I wasn't quite prepared for the amount of very minor changes in store. One such change requires the use of the statement "upon retirement" to be stricken from the code and replaced with "by reason of retirement". It seems like it refers to the same point of time to me - the point of time when retirement occurs. Perhaps they wanted to make the statement merely more formal? That may be so, but later on in the same document there is a section to eliminate parts of the section which refer to 1990 tax years, and are struck out of the code under the heading of "Repeal of Deadwood".

Chalk it up to one of the innumerable idiosyncrasies of the tax code, I guess.

Regardless, now is the time that I need to make the replacements and edits to other related documents and put the new content up.

Back in the dark ages of 10 years ago, one of the more prominent IIDX players went by the handle of DJ Trunks. He had his own message board for a while and was one of the few players who submitted scores to the PS2 IIDX Expert Course rankings back when Konami offered it. For 6th Style, one of his comment fields for a course had the statement: "WHY DO ALL OF THE COURSES HAVE DIVE IN IT?" To this day, any time I hear the song, that's one of the first things that come to my mind. Meanwhile, King of Groove is a song which I distinctly recall having problems with - but only for the normal unaltered version of the chart. This rings true yet again here, as with the random roll that I had with it, I had absolutely no issue running with it without a hitch, even in the middle part where it becomes messiest. It will probably be a long time before I surpass that score, all the same, but at least in playing it again it reaffirms that I can still lick it. Have I ever said how terrible the song there Is No Telling is? It's rather bad. Very much bad. Don't make a point to find the song on youtube if it's even posted. It helps give the fan-made songs the bad reputation, I believe.
