Retail. I'm at one boundary of the parking lot which is close to other neighboring businesses, which includes a sports equipment store and a barber shop. There's a sidewalk which connects them all. As I'm standing in the lot, I see three boys racing down in bicycles towards the sidewalk. I recall thinking that they seemed to be going pretty fast. I'm not sure if one of the boys thought that there was a dip in the curb to the sidewalk that could be used for access, or if he thought that he could pull his handlebar up and jump up over the curb to the sidewalk surface. The result was that he collided with the sidewalk curb, which caused the bike to lunge forward with enough force to raise the rear wheel directly upwards, and expel the rider over the handlebars, which made him land pancake flat onto the sidewalk. There was an audible slap of flesh meeting asphalt on the impact. It was surreal to watch.

Taxes. I was only able to complete Form 1120F Schedule I last night. I grant that accounting for the new tables does consume a fair amount of time but I wish I could have had more done. Schedule M1/M2 will be easy, but there's still a fair bit more to go.

One rule I have about my song sessions is that I try not to end with an increase, on the premonition that I might be in the midst of a good streak and don't want it to end without possibly getting more records. I was ready to be done with the dojin song 道しるべ but lo and behold I get two more increases immediately afterward. Again I'm shocked to encounter two charts for which I had no previous record entered in my text file, and particularly in the case of Reminiscence//002 where I had a previous record set within the game as well. Great day regardless.
