First thing that I managed to do today was get a full batch of the 2012 Form 1120 test returns out for review. It was aggravating to get all four of the 7004 tests in, as I kept having stupid errors and was putting them through in a batch. Once I had that ironed out, though, I only needed one attempt to get the entire set of eleven submitted without error. That much is nice.

Later in the day, after dinner, I resolved that I was going to get an elliptical machine today. We went about to clean the very soiled carpet where the treadmill was before I had contacted my Dad to make arrangements for use of his truck, as I anticipated that I couldn't use my Blazer for the job. We were on our way to the store at 7PM and were there by 730PM, and it closed at 8PM. As fate would have it, one of the men who was working there was someone that my Dad has known since high school. The fortunate result of that is that I was able to get a machine that had a sticker of $399 on it for a total of $324. Getting it down to the basement was an ordeal in as much as making me drenched in sweat, but honestly wasn't overly complicated beyond the physical demand of the task.

Time is short. Let's see if I can get something small in here.

Torrence held the long black case in his left hand and flipped the top open away from himself with his right. A slight smile cracked upon the edges of Kedzie's lips. It was beautiful to finally see in front of him.
"It is done. Try it out."
Kezdie nodded and took the chained watch into his hands, holding the body in his right. He brushed his thumb against the button on its top to test its sensitivity, and he found it to have a minimal amount of give before the light force he applied was resisted. The gold chain which he laced between two fingertips was a fine mesh of tiny links with a width of an eighth of an inch.
He pressed the button. The force of the chain's motion sent the watch body to the base of his palm, while the hilt melted into composition in his hand. The chain fled from his fingertips and snapped into a blade which grew to thirty inches. Two edges formed at the sides of the sword while the hollow middle was held in place by an interweaving of chain that curved and overlapped each other like vines. He lazily motioned the blade with his wrist and found it to be no heavier than a few pounds; then he wrapped his left hand around his right, pulled the blade over his head, and swung down upon the concrete floor with all of his strength. A few sparks and splinters of concrete flew from the point of impact, and the blade resonated with an echoing tone. The tone went away when he pressed the button again and the blade disintegrated from its structure to become the thin gold chain once more.
"Looks good." Torrence's praise was genuine.
"I agree. But, as stated, I cannot use this until it is blessed." Kedzie kept his eyes upon Torrence after saying this and replacing the watch into the box.
"Yeah, I figured you was serious about that, heh."

Shopping list.

I feel like I've seen this handwriting before; or should I say, this pair of handwriting before, as I find it difficult that the person who wrote the Hershey's Syrup down here is the same person who wrote the rest of this. Even more strange is that this additional item wasn't the last one on the list.

Today's song session was rather good. Apparently I was comatose the first time I played the Another 14 chart for Bemani 4 U. I also had some bad luck in getting failed on charts like 蒼い衝動 and Freezing Atmosphere, the latter of which is particularly painful as it means that I still don't have a clear recorded in my file. Oh well. It was also hilarious to get flunked by Heartbeat right at the end too.
