We still had some periodic slowdowns during the day, so we allowed a technician visit that was scheduled on Tuesday to still occur. The result was that the person said that our modem was the offending party, so we purchased a new one. My phone was somewhat busy during the course of the day today. Got a call regarding a job application that I sent out some time ago, and I established that the person should call again tomorrow as I was in the middle of work at the time. I'd like to think that doing this means something more than a rejection, though I imagine that it's just to tell me about more hoops to jump through.
