The following actions have been taken:

1. The Magical Moron Committee has been dissolved.
2. The Fight Club has been deleted.
3. My ass-kicking boots are on.

Everyone: Fight Club is gone - deleted by yours truly. You want to act like a flaming jerk, go elsewhere. PM me for suggestions.

Kenshin: Your April Fool's joke dragged on too long. If you are not going to help out the site, cut out again. As far as I'm concerned, you can take your ownership of the site and eat it with crackers. I'd rather see this community migrate again than degenerate into some two-bit haven for name-calling and childish pranks. Your intentions may have been right, but I fault your execution.

Anti-MMC: Let's put this garbage behind us, 'mkay?

I have things to do, so discuss among yourselves until I get back.

Two points of clarification before I leave:

1. Kenshin did not ban MVS.
2. If you have questions, ask them here. I will be back in an hour to answer them. Leave bahn and Kenshin alone.

I actually never stepped foot in Fight Club, so most of this is lost on me. I also have a feeling I'm better off not knowing.

You're right you're better off. I stopped by the Fight Club for the first time yesterday and it was just a hell hole.

I was totally apathetic towards the MMC, meaning I didn't give a damn about it. I did find the whole Anti-MMC ordeal sadly hilarious (or hilariously sad), especially considering the fact that the person (or one of the persons) that started it was 88mph. What a lamer.

As for the Fight Club, good riddance.

I'm curious myself, partially because I haven't known of anyone to get banned from here before. And there have been some nasty/bad arguements from time to time.

Though I believe Nick when he says that Kenshin didn;t ban MVS, it does seem a bit odd considering the fact that Matt is writing reviews for TNL now. Will he still be keeping that duty, or is he wiped clean from the TNL slate?

So, that's how it all ends up. Too bad Fight Club got killed off, collateral damage I suppose.

It was a lot of fun, but yeah.. I guess it was beginning to get a little old. I'm sure one day we'll all look back on this and have a good ol' fashioned chuckle.

I dont know. I wasnt on at that time. I only found out about it, after Lukas posted it. She had her who online disabled, so you never know when she was here.

You're on the verge of being banned because every single post (that I can recall) of yours on this incarnation of the boards has been a flame directly or indirectly at Kenshin. The other "victim" was well-deserving and not that difficult to discern.

I think it went to the effect that MVS posted something, Kenshin didn't like it, no one backed down, and then Fight Club imploded.

A lot more people seemed to rally behind MVS but with tenuous arguments like how TNL is a public venue and you should allow things like this to happen. Now really, that's like going into a store, pulling down your pants, and wagging your penis in front of everybody's face and telling the manager, "Hey, this store is open to the public. If you don't want stuff like this to happen, don't open a store."

That's not entirely correct.

He was a member, his account was deleted and the IP addressed was banned. When a member's account is deleted, their status defaults to a guest.

Guests can not post here, except in Board Q/A.

Thanks for the info, i still don't see where Rebecca fit in. I liked her, she's like the anti EThugg, just as bad but in the opposite direction. If that makes sense. Why was she banned? Guests being able to post elsewhere isn't an oversight. If you ever see that happening, it's our way or purging their membership, and the software automatically labels them as a guest (it's easier this way instead of literally deleting them entirely and thus messing up discussions (especially if others have quoted them or something)

I noticed he signed up the other day, and I considered it odd that you'd be going back to your old name (especially since I thought everyone was aware that we can change the names of their account for them w/o having to register a new account. Anyways, I contacted the guy, but then decided just too look at his ip, saw it didn't match up and then realized someone was out to make trouble. His account was removed and he has been banned from this board. :)
