Hmm, it was just a overall observation of human beings in generail. There is something to be said for someone that you can enjoy being with, with out having to saying anything all (I think they talked about this in puplfiction). But that sort of thing isn't seen as much or in as many different places as the question concept I was talking about.
If you do disgree though, feel free to argue other wise.
I suppose you have a point - I've dated one girl who ever bothered to ask any amount of questions about me or even wanted to know more about me.
IronPlant - I think you and I are probably feeling very disatisfied with women right now judgeing by all the recent threads.

If this is the case, then the women I run into must be part of the minority that abstains from sex (at least with me). Just my luck too :p
When I was about 13 or 14, I decided it was high time I get into the whole dating thing that all my friends were talking about. I'm pretty shy and whatnot, so it was terribly difficult. When I did end up talking to women, I found out that nearly all women expect the guy to do all the talking. Though, you could talk about yourself alot, and they probably wouldn't be bothered too much. Again though, they wouldn't ask any questions, and I suspected they didnt listen or care what was said, aslong as there was something to fill the silence.
OTOH, these girls were pretty young. 13 or 14, s I was. So immaturity was a big factor. Sounds like you know alot of immature girls.
To paraphrase from God Debris, people like to talk about themselves. If you give them that opportunity, then they will like you, respect you, and even admire you. Eventually, they might even give you the opportunity to talk about yourself.
