Official Timesplitters 2 Thread

I dont know about the rest of you but i cannot beat the first level on hard. I thought normal was pretty easy, but hard is just kimpossible. After the checkpoint I just royaly screwed. Hows everyone else doing on hard?

also does anyone know if you can unlock cheats such as infinte ammo and invincibilty cause i wanna know if once i beat everything I can go back and beat the shit out of every little fuck that gave me problems, after i beat everything of course. Im not one to use cheats to help beat the game, only to mess around.

I have only one question. Why does no one complain about the lack of an aiming cursor? Even when not in "aim mode," wouldn't it be nice to know where you're shooting?

I was feeling the same way the first time I ever played TS1. But the more I played the game, the more the problem lessened.

This feature wasn't in TS1, so I was already accustomed to it before I booted up TS2. Play the game for a little while, and I can almost gurantee that you will realize a cursor isn't necessary to aim properly. However, it would have been nice to at least have some sort of option to use an aiming cursor.

-Finished Story Mode on Normal
-Got Medals on all the Arcade and Challenge Games
(a few are only bronzes though)
-Am suitably bewildered at the sheer amount of bots, maps, and game modes that are unlocked in this game when all is said and done.

However, can someone please answer me this. Even after all that, I only have four tile sets to work with in the mapmaker. Alien, Industrial, Virtual and Victorian. I am told there are more... is this true, and if so, how are they unlocked?

I'm only now starting to get serious with the mapmaker, and I'd like to work this out before I start investing a lot of time putting together some maps.

EDIT: Just read the above posts... That's funny, I have a cursor when I'm in Aim Mode.

i think they were reffering to when they are not in aim mode.

Dacaz: I've beat less stuff than you have then and I've got about 10 tile sets, my only guess is either I've got golds and platinums on things you don't or you're not going to advanced mapmaker instead of beginner

I'm definately in Advanced Mapmaker. But when I go to select the theme, those are the only four I can choose. Can you give me a list of the other tilesets you've unlocked. :(
