Yeah, TS2 is one great game.

I actually like the Quantum Leap-esque Story Mode. It's fun and it's got lots of variety. It might not be as strong as Halo's story but it's still cool. And the combat in TS2 is just so polished and fun. Something about it just feels really right to me. I think the locked 60 fps gameplay has something to do with it.

BTW, anyone using the Search function to find a thread with a numeral in the title needs to omit that numeral from the search box. Otherwise you won't find anything.

Cheers for updating my comments on this. Mucho appreciated. I thought the Quantum Leap element was great too, but so far (I'm not that far in) I think a common thread needs to run through the missions. They all seem a bit too separate so far.

I enjoy this game, but I really wish I got the PS2 version. No matter how I seem to configure my controls on the GC controller, I always have to sacrifice the crouch button in order to be able to strafe.

Why? The Cube controller's analog sticks are so much more precise than the dual shock's, just use a dual analog configuration on your Cube controller. You can't move while staying crouched really anyway.

I noticed no difference in precision among analog sticks and I've played multi-player on all three versions. What I did notice, as UndeadKing pointed out, is the ability to map every function to the PS2 pad. Unless I am overlooking something, I am not able to do this on the GC pad. I'm not disappointed in the GC version, I would just like to be able to use every function in the game, rather than sacrificing one in order to strafe.

I love this game, but I am pretty casual when it comes to FPS. I just love the massive amounts of unlockables, and all the characters and levels are wonderful, especially if you are like me, and customize your levels to dumb little "themes"...I kinda wish they had included a few more unlockable weapons, but they do fine. I also like all the statistics...like how many miles you have traversed and heads/limbs blown off. I got a gold trophy in the Insomniac stat for playing 6hours 54minutes and 53seconds straight. It doesnt have the most hardcore of controls, but its more of a multiplayer madness kind of game (see: Monkeys and Bricks)
