As good as Burnout 2 looks on the PS2, the Cube port looks even better. Everything's a bit smoother, there are more noticeable effects (sparks, tire smoke, etc), and most of the traffic looks clearer and more distinct (a definite plus). It's not a huge improvement - the PS2 Burnout is an amazing technical achievement - but it certainly makes a difference gameplay-wise.
I can also say that there are extra zones in Crash Mode (I think 15), and a couple added levels in Championship Mode. If there are more unlockables, I haven't found em yet (I want the Bus back!).
The Xbox port should be about the same as the Cube upgrade, except for the addition of custom soundtrack support, and the graphics will probably be a tad cleaner (I'm basing the graphical assumption on the ports of the original Burnout). It's due out at the end of April, so we'll know for sure then.
The Cube port is without question better than the PS2 rev, due to the improved visuals and extras. Unless Criterion screws up the Xbox port in some way (unlikely IMO), the custom soundtrack option would seem to give it the edge. Although the Cube port is $40, which means you're paying an extra $10 for the Xbox's soundtrack feature.
edit: While I'm at it, I should state that the GC/XB ports of the original Burnout are also better than the PS2 version. The visuals are markedly cleaner, and oncoming traffic is much easier to see (the PS2 rev suffered from practically invisible grey commuter cars which could impact gameplay severely - at times you couldn't avoid them in time to avoid a crash). No extras for the Cube & Box ports, but the upgraded graphics are a very significant improvement.
edit2: for Master's master list:
Burnout -PS2, GC, XB- -Best on GC/Xbox- -Cleaner visuals that improve gameplay-
I don't want to add Burnout 2 until the Xbox port is released.
Here's some updated NBA Street and Sunset Riders info. NBA Street did not come out for Xbox, and I've added the reasons why its better than the PS2 version.
NBA Street GC,PS2 GC Better Graphics, updated rosters, one new court
Sunset Riders SNES, Genesis SNES twice as many characters, better graphics
According to IGN, Splinter Cell is best on Xbox.

I personally think the SNES pad is one of the best pads ever
and i truly loathe the genny pad
the 6 button one is OK but not as good as the SNES pad
anyway i know alot of people here love Custom Soundtracks personally for ME its not worth it
why because 90% of the songs i listen to ive converted to MP3s and have all on my hard drive also i cant seem to find anyway to pick and match sounds from one cd youve dled to the XBox hard drive with another one
which makes it completely WORTHLESS to me
i dont want to listen to just say U2 when playing a game i want a mix and sorry its jsut not worth finding the right blank discs burning it at the right speed with the right program to then rip it to the Xbox hard drive and have one specific set of songs to play
fuck that shit
ill pick what songs i want to listen to hit play on win amp and turn the music off on my game
about 1000000000000000000000x easier for ME
You realize you can move tracks around right? So if you have U2, you can moves whatever songs you want to listen to over to your soundtrack file. So for each game you have you can make a file and put whatever songs you want to hear into it. Or just have one huge sountrack file (which is what I do.)
I've had both the GC and PS2 version(just PS2 version now) and the PS2 version is definitely better. It has more extras that the GC disc didn't have unfortunately and the character models look a bit more polished on the PS2 version. Also the clipping isn't as prevalent on faces like Elise's although clipping is still a bit of an issue in the PS2 version.Quote:

It kind of seems to me the PS2 version has alot of cool stuff the others don't have like the exclusive level which is not in the X-Box downloadable, the 3 extra suits(masked Sam, sleeved costume, snow costume) and some other gadgets and things mixed around to make more sense. This is what I got from OPM and the developers themselves in that article.Quote:

The GC version has a really cool map that can be used with the GBA/GBA-SP and I think an added weapon when linked with the GBA Splinter Cell. What I think is cool about this is playing with the SP and light in the dark and checking your position while playing. If the GC version had the PS2 exclusive stuff it would be totally rad.
i take it thats in the dashQuote:
