Nintendo has now released the official Broadband Adapter and Modem Adapter for the GameCube. The adapters will enable players to get their GCN online through a dial-up, cable, or DSL connection. This way, gamers will be able to use their own ISPs with no extra console access charges.
Several third-party companies, including Activision and Sega, are planning to produce online games for the GameCube. The first of these titles is Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II, which is now available at retail stores everywhere.
