Things to do in Boston?

So, I should be going to Boston on Saturday. I'll be heading in the city blind, so I was curious if anyone lived there, and knew some places to go? I'd be looking for record shops, videogames (if applicable...), stuff like that. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find most of the cultural areas myself.

Any help is appreciated.

I recommend davis and harvard sq. for whatever your needs may be.

I have always found Boston folk to be much friendlier than people in just about every city I have been to. Nice place.

There are soooo many colleges and universities there that many parts of the town are essentially giant college student centers.

Harvard square used to be so cool before they turned it into an outdoor chain mall:(, it still has some good spots though. You can hit up Newbury Comics in the Garage, they have great cd selection but not so much vinyl. Still, i usually find what i'm looking for. You won't find much in the way of import games anywhere, and what you do find will be incredibly overpriced. If you're looking for some food and drink head over to Charlie's, one of my favorite bars in the whole city.

But of course. I mean the haravrd sq. no one will bring you too.

Hahaha, I prefer just walking through central sq when there is nothing to do, cause there is like seven night clubs four blocks from eachother.

When all else fails, Davis feels like home. The somerville theatre, Someday cafe, and Sacco's bowl haven, are basically places I've hung out my whole life, and any one of those are where I begin my night.

OOOOH OOOOH, I'm from Boston. Here is a list of places to go:

Newbury Street
Park Street (and downtown crossing)
Good Times (great arcade at Sullivan Square, the best in Boston)
Harvard Square (go to the garage mall)
ummmmm...

There is so much to do, you couldn't possibly take it all in in a weekend.

Find some cool clubs that interest you, if you are the learning type, take a duck tour, they are AWESOME. Also, go to the museum of science, its the bomb.

DAMMIT. I wish i was coming home this weekend.

OH! Fanuel Hall and Quincy Market. Gotta go there.
