Not quite yet... I ended up finishing JSRF instead... and then I went and got Halo and now I'm distracted by that. I will get back to GV this weekend though. :)Quote:

Glad it took a Sega bundle to convince ya.
Yeah, but I'm not seeing what you all see in Halo yet. I'm on the Third stage now, and it's not blowing me away. :pQuote:

If you're not into the game now, then just pretend it ends at the fourth level, and stop playing - it gets pretty cumbersome by level 5 and up. Also, if you're not really enjoying it, try playing it on Heroic. What made the game good for me, even the dull later levels, was the excellent AI and the challenge, and you can't really get enough out of the game, I think, to sustain the experience, if you're playing on Normal.Quote:

:wtf:
I disagree with this. Level 5/8 (Assault on the Control Room/Two Betrayals) and level 6 (343 Guilty Spark) are my favorite levels in the game.
It's only 15 bucks at BestBuy. Pick it up anyways.Quote:

Old thread, yeah I know.
But I just finished Gun Valkyrie and want to sing its praises too. The controls are indeed different, but after that damed final boss, I have GOT to play through it again! I finally feel like I mastered the controls after attempting to beat that f*cker for the 20th time!
Awesome, awesome game.
I also just finished Metroid Pime. Underwhelmed is all I can say.
;{
$10 at eb.... (at least earlier in the week).
I love this game, on the 3rd or 4th level, I really enjoy it.
If you can't seem to get a feel for the controls, keep practicing and never go up to level 3 or higher. Once you can simultaneously target, shoot, hover combo, back spin/turn, side dash up the ass, quater spin mother-f* - I mean, it'd really get you going :D. Then, going through the harder levels will be much more fun. Cool, cool game!
