Everytime I benchpress I throw my neck out. It's a genetic thing, because if I even turn my head too quick it'll be thrown out, but it's a bitch. I need to marry I chiropracter.

This is directed to anyone here who has recently started drinking a lot of water. I drink a fair amount (maybe about a liter and a half a day), but from what I've read I should be drinking more (Mezz drinking 3 liters and all). Did anyone here really notice a difference (in anything) once they started drinking a lot?
Also, I need to start bitching to the manager of my gym about the dumbbells. They only go up to 85lbs. and I've just about outgrown them for incline dumbbell presses (and that's with doing bench presses first in my chest routine). I suppose I could start doing incline barbell but I prefer using dumbbells for incline stuff (I just feel it more). I mean come on guys, the Golds near me goes up to 180lb. dumbbells.
Weird. Are you sure you're keeping your back completely flat against the bench and not arching at all when you press? There's this 60 year old retard who works out at my gym and when the guy benches, I swear, the only parts of his body touching a surface are the back of his head and the tips of his toes.Quote:

Well, aside from that.Quote:

No I dont think it does really, but I only made a few posts in this thread so Im not an expert (unlike napalm or Opaque). A liter and a half is fine.
My main reason for drinking so much is im trying to drop about 15 lbs as well, and besides taking a piss like every half an hour (im not good with drinking the full amount throughout the day, so I try to drink it in two sections - 1.5 liters before lunch, 1.5 liters after lunch) its good for your metabolism, and causes you to eat less. Another benefit for me, is the fact that drinking so much water is really cleaning my systems out. This helps for the detox I'm going through. I feel so much "cleaner" now, to be honest.Quote:

Like Mezz said, it cleans out your system. Incase you guys are wondering, drinking a cup of cold water (I can't remember the size of the "cup" ) burns 20 calories. I used to worry about the amount of water I've been drinking, but honestly, I think that if you're drinking JUST water (and occasionally something else) you don't need to really worry drinking 3 liters or whatever per day, unless you want your piss to be clear.Quote:

On monday I had to wait about 45 minutes to squat, because this princess was doing a million squats with little weight.Quote:

Like I said, it always happens to me, and it's pretty bothersome. One time I looked straight up, and I couldn't move my neck whatsoever. I only regained full movement after 3 weeks and tons of chiropractor visits. I'm pretty sure it's a genetic thing.Quote:

Chocolate Milk - the drink of champions
A neato read I thought. I'm a big fan of "real" food over suppliments, so, uh, yea.
I've been telling you guys that Chocolate Milk is the nectar of the gods for ages.
