Fat's not muscle. You may gain some fat while bulking if you're not careful, but if you keep track of your diet and figure out what works and what doesn't, you should be able to keep your fat gains to a minimum. You don't want to get a gut, especially with summer coming.Quote:

I lift them each up twice and then I have nothing left to give.
On the way home, after thinking about it for a while, I realised I hadn't taken No-xplode. I wasn't thinking about how I didn't have it in me when I tried to lift the weight, and I never think about it at the gym, but it really does keep your muscles from giving out on you.
Now that's not to say you can't get big without out, because of course you can, but you'll get big faster with it.
I was sure I wasn't going to be taking any supplements other than the protein, but I've been reading, and this NO-Xplode stuff seems to be doing miracles for people. I'm a little suprised by what Opaque had to say though, about being off the stuff. Either way, I found a site online with a tub for $30, so I might just check it out.
I'm telling you, you'll get higher weights taken care of if you take NO-XPLODE before you go to the gy; the first month I did it I added over 100 pounds to my bench.
I'm on it again BTW, my new cycle just started.
Again though, you'll get big eventually without it; but if you want to see yourself gain a lot of weight fast you want to go with some suppliment of that nature.
Your bench went up 100 pounds in one month? Riiiight.Quote:

As a side note I was having issues doing 20's on each arm before I started NO-XPLODE (I was really weak guys) but by the end of my first month I was doing 35's like it was nothing. That stuff has really helped me progress.
Okay, you're talking bench pressing on a machine. I find that (slightly) more believable. But there's no way anyone's going up 100 pounds on free weight bench in a month.
Speaking of going up in weight, I think I need to look into a new gym. Bally's only goes up to 85lb. dumbbells (for insurance reasons, they claim) and I've outgrown them on incline presses. I've tried to milk the 85s as long as possible- I used to do incline presses first in my chest routine, but moved them to after flat bench so I'd be weaker. At this point I should probably be using 95lb. dumbbells. I could switch to incline barbells presses but I hate them.
There's a new place opening up right by my job. Dumbbells go up to 150, which is nice. It's $45 a month, as opposed to the $60 a year I pay for Bally's, but it's so much nicer.
I can recommend No-xplode or Shock Therapy as well. I'm skeptical of placebo effects and shit in supplements, but that stuff really does amp you up like crazy. Maybe it's just a caffeine rush or whatever, but the workouts can get a little crazy and you have to stop yourself.Man, I love that shit.Quote:
