Everyone rumored, nobody believed...
It would seem as if the fiery realms of hellfire have been invaded by frost because <a href="http://www.capcom.com">Capcom</a>'s latest 2D crossover title <b>Capcom vs. SNK: EO</b> originally developed for the Gamecube is heading to Xbox Live.
Capcom announced the details earlier last month Capcom which put the entire fighting game community in a frenzy. After all - how long has it been since we've all been awaiting a popular fighting game (well, any type for that matter) to be available for online play. Up until now, you'll had to rely on MAME or Kaillera. No longer, as <i>Capcom vs. SNK 2: EO</i> delivers all of the arcade action, featuring 44 characters respectively from the Capcom and SNK universe. Do we really need to go over the other features -- it should be common knowledge if you've been an avid arcade player (or owned it on the PS2 or Dreamcast). So mark you calendars...its heading to stores on November 15.
As for other vital features, especially important to the regular tournament players, no word if aspects such as roll-cancelling has been removed. Though based on the latest coverage in Tips and Tricks dedicated to explaining how the system works, one could imagine that it was left intact for the Gamecube AND Xbox versions. If you don't have broadband service now, there's no better time to get it installed --- this game's goes to 11 (and beyond!)
