I HATED Chaotix. There were barely any enemies, and the level layout sucked. I thought the gameplay itself was cool, but there was nothing to play with, persay... oh well, to each their own

Don't forget: the music ROCKED! I'd get the game just for the music alone. Some of the best Sonic series music around, with exception of the CD based games.
I dug Chaotix, far and away the best 32X game IMO. A pity it didn't make it's way onto the Sonic Mega Collection. Well, mebbe on the next one, they can include Sonic CD on that one too :)
I remember eventually having that problem with Star Wars Arcade, until I found out it was because I had the "wrong" model Genesis.Quote:

Knuckles Chaotix was the only game I ever really wanted for 32X. But in my mind, one game isn't worth buying a whole system for, so I never bought it. I also didn't have much confidence in the game because most magazines gave it an average to slightly above average score, while others gave it a really shitty score.

They were probably right on giving it the score they did. It felt like it was slapped together, to sell 32X's with the Sonic name. The only part of the game that took advantage of the 32x, was the character sprites, as the backgrounds were all produced from the Genesis. The only Sonic game worse than Chaotix, was Sonic 3-D blast.
I bought my 32x to play Star Wars Arcade.
