What the hell happened to...

This is sort of spurred by the defunct developers thread. This is for companies that haven't died per se, but just faded away or turned to crap.

So anyway, whatever happened to... Delphine? They've released nothing but Motocross games and crap like Dark Stone for years now. What happened?

And whatever happened to Amazing Studios? I think they're still in business because they occasionally announce something Heart of Darkness related (there were talks of a movie at one point, and a GBA port).

And what happened to Shiny? They have a few development teams, but ever since they picked up the Matrix they've been dead silent. Is something up?

And are Monkeytropolis ever going to actually release a game?

Does anyone know what Kronos is doing these days?Fear Effect 3 was announced a while ago , but there isnt a trace of it on their site.The first 2 games were OK , but lacked polish with all of those cheap deaths and all.

Shiny has always sucked IMO, so I don't really care if they're dead or not.

:( sucks. They never revealed what the hell they were working on, but the team was made of refugees from the Earthworm Jim team and the Neverhood. Creative peoples.

-- Delphine Software did Moto Racer 3 and then moved their offices outside of Paris and are currently doing some non-videogame stuff while they wait for their next contract.

-- Amazing Studios is no longer.

-- Shiny is currently working on Enter the Matrix with Infogrames, and is currently rumored to be setting itself up for sale sometime soon as a second party developer.

-- Monkeytropolis ran out of money and closed it's doors.

-- Kronos is hard at work on Fear Effect Inferno

Lucasarts...poor, poor Lucasarts. Went from a level of consistency and quality only equalled by EAD to, bleh, some Star-Wars-trash factory.

Knights of the Old Republic actually looks pretty good. And if they can stabilize the frame rate in RTX Red Rock, it could actually turn out to be pretty cool.

I think Treasure's seen better days. Well, at least based on their post-DC output so far. Two duds on PS2, and Tiny Toons PS2 and Wario GCN didn't seem that hot at E3.
