Go Devils. While I dislike the state of New Jersey, I cannot cheer for the team that destroyed the Wild.

funny....if anaheim were to have won that game last night we wouldnt hear anything from anybody in this thread (cept for yoshi)....but since nj won we get the ducks slander. that was probably the most uncaring game ive seen anybody play last night on the ducks team. giggy stood on his head and his team never even showed up. and i hate how they make a big deal out of brodeurs shutout.....wow, the ducks got like under 20 shots all night right and i cant remember more than 4 or 5 that could have had a potential to even hit the twine.
Slander? I just don't like them because they beat Minnesota.
I've lost interest in this years playoffs.
See you next year, boys.
Jealousy is a real bitch, innit? ;)Quote:

And those 4 or 5 really big saves were really important to keep his team in the game... and that's what it's all about. No shutout is easy in the Cup Finals. It was far from his hardest shutout... but he made the saves he needed to make to give the team the chance to win and the team played great in front of him. That's all you can ask for. :)Quote:

ummmmm you're retarded.....have you ever played goalie? thats what i do and lemme say last night was probably one of the easiest nights you could ever give a goalie. and why should i be jealous? im a blackhawks fan :D
Blackhawks fan? The longest Stanley Cup drought in the NHL would be the main reason why you'd be jealous then!Quote:

The Hawks have not won a Cup in over 40 years. The Devils have won 2 since 1982 and been to 4 Finals.
Oh yeh, and enjoy watching Martin Brodeur break every long term goaltending record in the NHL record book for the next few years. ;)
I don't know how Yoshi is doing it, but he's like the Oracle of the 2003 playoffs...
I know he's simply rooting for his team, but what the hell?
your spouting history to me about my team like im some sort of bandwagon jumper.....i realize the drought. i also realize the next couple years will be extremely rough for hawks fans. but you know what? im not a wagon jumper and im proud to say that. and i sincerely believe the goalie and all his records are only as good as the team in front of him. you play boring ass trap hockey and have a good goalie to begin with and you WILL win cups and break records.Quote:

Hah, yeah, that’s what I love about reading all this Roy retirement stuff. They show all these records that he holds, and it's funny because in the next few years Brodeur is going to be breaking all of them :DQuote:
