Checked Out The Free Nintendo DVD

Not sure if anyone has started a thread on this, but I picked up the free Nintendo DVD at EB today (while pre-ordering RE 0) and it is packed with a ton of goodies.

Not only does it have some nice, quality videos of upcoming games, there are a few commericals in there as well (Kirby, Animal Crossing, Yoshi's Island). One of the coolest features would have to be the interactive history of Metroid, which shows short clips from each game, with some text providing some background on the series -- there are some extra goodies at the end of this feature as well.

If you happen to see this DVD at your local store, grab one; it's well worth checking out, and it's free. :)

Well I am going to Gamestop tomorrow to get Mech Assault and maybe another game so I will see if they have it there Celeryface

Is it a regular DVD or a GC-size DVD? Is it only at EB or are they giving out at Gamestop as well?

If you click the round Nintendo icon you get a video with Zelda, F-Zero, 1080, and I think one other game.

You also get a video of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle (GCN). :)

Its a Regular DVD, I got mine at Cube Club. It has some neat videos, but lots of it you most likley have seen already. The Metroid History is really cool though.

It's a regular DVD. Last year, Nintendo gave out those GCN-sized CDs -- it was cool but only had the standard capacity of a normal CD. Great to see Nintendo putting out their stuff on DVD, as the result is a large amount of awesome content on the disc. :)

Its a regular dvd, that you would play in your regular dvd player, or Xbox or PS2 :)

Best trailer on the disk - NightFire - Damn, that game looks good :)

thanks for the info. I will be looking for it tomorrow when I'm snagging Mech Assault.
