Border Down? What's that?
A horizontal shooter by G-rev on Naomi. It may get a Dreamcast release.
Err..hope, but never expect. A horitzonal shooter on DC would be nice though.Quote:

The Border Down section is sparse but the few pics give you a idea of the design.

Black Matrix is a long running series of S-RPGs. But there's already Black Matrix (and a Sentimental Graffiti) on DC so I wonder if these are sequels or just re-releases.Quote:

Excellent news about Maegawa being pleased about Ika's sales. You gotta imagine Treasure loves us importers/shooter fans. :D Anyways, Treasure and Maegawa rule. 'Nuff said.
You know... I'm wondering if Ikaruga's success will encourage a DC port of border down. G-rev and Treasure are pretty close, and G-rev even lent a hand in Ikaruga. I bet that Ikariga's sales could influence G-rev to follow suit.
Right, but isn't it an anime/manga as well? Those seem to spawn digital comics, especially in a dead market.Quote:

Umm... not to my knowledge. If there is an anime and manga it's pretty obscure and likely based on the gameQuote:

Sentimental Graffiti is literally a date sim... you work, and you date... and that's all there is to it. The actual game isn't particularly fun, as it's just making your schedule to fit in dating. But, the only way to get the best endings are to meet all the girls, so you'll have to be working in order to get money... to fly all over Japan, to meet all the girls. Although the actual dates are random, there are special dates which trigger memories. Because your family moved a lot when you were younger, you know all these people all across Japan. But you forget, and only when meeting them again do you start to remember. You also create new memories as well. Story and character-wise, this is a billion times better than TokiMemo. Though TokiMemo is probably a little bit more fun to play with more variety.Quote:

Sentimental Graffiti 2 is a "be at right place at right time" game, and it's extremely frustrating... You can be going through the game (4 months worth, a day at a time) and if you miss triggering a single event, you can go from best to worst ending. So... the gameplay is really awful because it's so unforgiving. There's like 50+ places you can be at any hour of the game. Miss one and boom. So if you cheat and use a walkthrough... then I totally recommend it. The story is basically the main char from Senti dies in an accident. You're a student in the photography club, looking for a model to shoot for the school festival. You can bump into one or more of the Senti girls and try to persuade them to do a photoshoot for you. They're older... they're more mature... and they're very depressed. So as you get to know them, you also get to know about what happened with Senti's main character and how it affected their lives. The stories are very moving, and if you cheat, I totally recommend it. As a game per se, the PC version is a lot better because they fixed one of the problems I had with the DC version. (No, it's not H fellas) But it's basically a be-in-the-right-place-at-right-time type of game.
I started a translation-summary project in case anyone's interested... I have no idea when I'll be able to resume though.

NEC Interchannel is working on Sentimental Prelude right now, which has nothing to do with the Senti/Senti2 characters. It's still scheduled to be out for the DC. The art leaves something to be desired, since Senti/Senti2 art is my favorite Japanese art ever.Quote:

Other than a couple of Pia Carrot ports and "Interlude", I don't see anything else on NEC Interchannel's plate. Another B/M game would be interesting... but you're right... it probably is referring to the rerelease which just came out last week.
Black Matrix could be a port of the recently released PS2 "Black Matrix 2". that would be spiffy, I guess.
