I want to [but have no idea how to] rip the songs from Vib-Ribbon. I was able to rip some .WMAs with Windows Media Player, but these are worthless if I can only listen to them on this computer.
So... I need some MP3s.
How do I do it?
Gracias.

Try to download AudioCatlyst. It's the app I use.
I wouldn't mind hearing those Vib Ribbon mp3s (or playing the game for that matter!).
sggg is on the right track
another method (I think) is to tack the tracks in WinAmp. Then, go to Preferences, and there should be a plyback or output option. You can switch that from Audio out to CD-R or some similar option. That allows the files to be converted to CDA onto the harddrive when you hit the play button.
If you have Windows XP, you can turn off the file protection of WMA files and burn the songs directly from Windows Media Player.
I use dbPowerAmp for wav->mp3 conversion.
It's VBR encoding, free, and it works.
I use Windows Media Player to burn them, it does the job.
Get Exact Audio Copy or CDex. Here: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ and here: http://www.cdex.n3.net/ . Both are relatively easy to to set up and use now, are FREE, and use LAME 3.92, the best mp3 encoding package there is (which is also FREE). CDex is a little easier to use, so I recommend trying that first.
Once you have one of them installed, you set them to use LAME with the default (best) options (look for the 'r3mix') option. Then, select which tracks you want to extract, click the appropriate button, and you're off and running. Both CDex rip to mp3 directly from cds, so there's no need to extract .wavs first and then convert.

A more specific version of what jiji said.
Fantastical. Exactly what I needed. Thanks a ton.Quote:

Vib-Ribbon MP3s coming soon...
Make 'em VBR! REMEMBER! VBR RULES N STUFF!
CDex is all you need, but...
OGG format, damnit!!!
The newer versions of Winamp support OGG, OGG is roughly the same size as MP3, and sounds much better. Try it out.
VBR blows.
Make them 192.

I suggest you use Exact Audio Copy as someone said above, however I'd use LAME encoding.
OGG is nicer than MP3s at lower bitrates, but can't compare at higher bitrates.
I've got Vib Ribbon mp3s sitting on my hard drive right now.
CDex rocks the bunnies!:)
It pains me to say it, but I agree with the elf.
Vib Ribbon music owns.
Damnit. I don't have enoug webspace for all 7 tracks. I need room for four more.
