Ghost Recon

Well this comes out tomorrow and I for one and hyped as hell for it. Voice comm is going to make this game so damn awesome. Whoever else is getting it and wants to play together leave your gamertag here.

I may be getting it, but not for a week or so.

I'm really interested in it, I mean I really want it because it's a realistic team-based shooter, but the fact that I can't see my gun just takes so much out for me :(

Yeah alot of people seem to have a problem with that. I used to play the hell out of Rainbow Six on Dreamcast so I am used to it I guess. You should at least rent it and see if you can adjust ;)

I like not seeing the gun even more; leaves room for aiming. And if this game is anything like SOCOM, I'll cream my pants with glee.

Everyone I talk to says NOBODY is playing this game.

Yeah yesterday it was extremely empty, and the one game I did find was co-op with this complete dumbass that teamkilled me as soon as I respawned. Today however I got a good 4 player co-op going, we played through half the campaign on veteran.

How long does a game last, and what must you do to win? Only kill the entire team, or are there objectives..

Game times vary, as well as objectives. There is mission mode where you just need to do the objectives or firefight where the objectives are taken away and the map is filled with enemies. There is also recon mode but I haven't tried that so I dunno what it is yet. As for deathmatch, there is the standard rescue hostage scenario as well as last man standing and domination, where you have to capture two points of the map to get points.
