Lots of talk about a "shake up" going down in the magical halls of TNL. Mr. Thugg has exited the building, Mr. Force is gone now as well, people are grumping at one another over pithy things such as "your teeth are more yellow than dog piss".

While that is indeed a harsh comment, you could simply recoil with "You look like Bob Hope". But then it turns into one big punching-fest with people writing imaginary stories about Bill Clinton having an affair with Mr. Rael of the Raelian religion. After all, the aliens will be taking over some day.

Which brings up a good point: is anyone here a Raelian? I know someone in the religion down in Minneapolis. <a href="http://www.rael.org">Rael is a religion which has something to do with aliens returning to earth.</a> And speaking of religion, I think we should create a religion which revolves around Dolemite, because he could beat a lot of people up.

But in closing, it is good that most of us are not acting rashly and abandoning this board we call home. While some may be out, we are not. Let us keep it that way.

I won't make the mistake of making jokes about your yellow teeth or make comparisons between you and Bob Hope. During your administration we had record levels of inflation which grew from 7% in 1977 to _12%_ by 1979, gasoline lines stemming from OPEC oil price increases who you did not blame instead blaming the America public for their “profligate, energy-wasting lifestyle.”, interest rates were up 20%, the poorest fifth of the population had a drop of 17% in real family income, alarmist environmental predictions which never came true, the botched hostage rescue attempt in Iran in 1979, federal deficit rose from 40 billion in fiscal 1979 to 73 billion by 1980, an inane foreign policy based on so called "human rights" which were not actually supported by your administration which instead had a hard policy of appeasement, gave away the American built Panama Canal for virtually nothing, you praised totalitarian leftists dictators and appeased them, allowed Marxist guerillas to infiltrate and finally topple the Somosa regime in Nicaragua etc etc etc. I could go on and on but I think you get my point, yours was one of the most insipid, irresolute, inept and flawed presidencies of all time and we suffered greatly until the Reagan administration. I won't go on about your recent visits to Cuba and praise of Castro...

I feel I have made my point, as a world leader you were and are severely lacking, but as a gamer...you are really quite top notch. Thank you for your gaming opinions and commentary, I for one would consider it a tragedy if you were to leave us simply because you couldn't hack it as a world leader. Stay kind sir, stay and continue to provide us with insightful commentary and opinions. And if you are looking for a good alien experience, you just can't go wrong with scientology.
