IMHO in terms of graphics there's no other racer that is its equal. I can't think of any other game that combines such an fast sense of speed with such a super smooth frame rate.
And the anti-aliasing is incredible too, it's probably the smoothest looking XBox game out there.
I agree it is fun as hell, and it makes me wonder what other great games I have passed on simply because I am not usually a fan of it's genre. I hate racing games, but gave this a rent to prepare for Live and was blown away. Fun as hell, and had me redoing time trials over and over to shave seconds off my score, something most racing gamers are very familiar with but for me I just never liked a racer enough to do. Very cool game, and of course the online support only adds to the fun that can be had with it. Gotta love seeing 7 people crash and hearing "MOTHERFUCKER" over the headset everytime...
Yes, it's incredibly fun and controls great too. Forgot to mention that. :D
Yeah, I kept saying this back when it first came out, but did anyone listen? Of course not, it's a motorcycle game! :p I'm so glad MS added this with the XBL kit, this game really deserves a lot more recognition that it's finally starting to get. Excellent game :) I don't know if which I would rate higher between this and Rallisport Challenge, but they're both my two favorite racing games ever, I absolutely can't wait for Rallisport Online. Until then though, I'll probably have to give Moto GP the slight advantage because of the online play.
A demo comes with Xbox live, right? I'm interested in the game now :)
I tried it for a bit during the beta, but quickly ditched it once Mech Assault came out. Racers that are so dependant on other people not messing up bother me. (read: I don't care for racing sims, only arcade)
The game RULES. I don't think I can even waste my time playing another racing game online if it didn't have 16 players. It runs so damn well too. The crashes are sweet and it great being able to swear at the fucker that took you out. I love it. I want to see some mag rereview this with online enabled. I bet it would rate damn high now.
Yes, but the "credit shooter" mini game is also highly aggravating as well :p
lol, I should go try the mini game again. I only played it once and was ranked in the top 1000.
Underrated? Yes.
Better than Project Gotham? No.

Its better than Gotham in my eyes just because of the sweet multiplayer. If Gotham had that then maybe. I just dont think any other online racing game will be as exciting as Moto GP.
I just hope Microsoft brings an XBOX Live version of it's Motocross Madness game to XBOX, that would be awesome online :)
