Castlevania HoD, stuck :(

Apparently, I'm retarded. After you kill the Golem boss, wtf do you do? I've gone all over the castle, and every opening I can find is unavailable due to my lack of a double jump (whatever Relic that happens to be, I don't have it, and I can't find it), or a locked door.

I finally resorted to gamefaqs, and not one of the faqs was helpful either :( They all say I'm supposed to go to a specific spot just after the Golem and go through a teleporter to the Corridor of Air... I'd love to, except the area they all indicate is inaccessible. Again, I need a double jump to reach it. What am I doing wrong here?

Looking under castle map B, head west from the closest save room near the golem boss. You'll drop down a few screens and you'll need to reach the yellow "B" room that contains a teleporter to enter the alternate castle. Hope that helps. :)

I think you need to beat the Skull Knight in the Skeleton Cave.

Smx: I went there, there's a ledge I can't reach to get to the teleporter.

Burg: I went to the Skeleton Cave, again, I can't through that area, I'm lacking some Relic or another.

This bites :(

Yeah, apparently you're supposed to go to the skeleton cave. There's a segment where you have to whip a statue or some skeleton and it will fall over for you to pass. Did you, by chance, think it was a dead end and turn back? You should be able to get quite far without many relics.

EDIT: It's a giant skull. Hit it and it will roll down and you can use it as a ledge.

I'll double check that, there is a skeleton head there, but I beat on it for awhile and it didn't disappear (whip, hanging whip, special weapon, magic book special weapon). The bottom area of the cave is blocked by an apparently solid wall.

There's two skulls, one on the top of a kind of hill, and another one is held up by a stick of some sort that you can destroy.

I remeber being stuck for a little there too. Glad im not alone lol.

Yeah, it was that upper skull. I was hitting it from the wrong side :( *sigh* Stupid simple things. Cruised along after that, should finish it in a few more hours.

On another note, I found HoD's flow to be worse than Circle of the Moon's... the SotN team shouldn't throw stones when in glass houses...
