You might also want to try Cyber Core. It's a lesser-known bug-themed shooter. Some say it's average at best, but I think it's fun. Cheap, too. Got mine for $10 (on ebay). Actually, sometimes you can come across veritable treasure troves of PCE/Turbo stuff being sold on ebay, and for cheap, too, so I'd reccomend keeping an eye out for good deals. Most US-released HuCard games will be no more than $20, usually less (except for Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, etc.).

Try to get Somer Assault. It's really weird. You're a Slinky with a gun in this game and you can cling to walls and shoot stuff. It's a domestic HuCard, so you won't have to track down an expensive, and hard to find convertor to play it.

Other Card games to get would be Bloody Wolf, Tiger Road, Psychosis, Dungeon Explorer, and Dragon's Curse.

If you want to play imports, just get an actual PC Engine. Those stupid converters are more expensive and hard to find than the system itself.

You will own those games until the day that you die. Keith and Panza are basically the most unsellable games ever...except for maybe Super Marioless Duck Hunt. But Keith's actually kinda fun if you give it a chance.

As for my advice with games? Learn Japanese. You'll have access to one of the coolest gaming libraries ever. The shooters & platformers you'll be fine with, but there are some truly kickass rpgs on the system that were never released here.

Oh, and get the Y's games, if only for the soundtracks (you did get the CD add-on for with that $50, right? Otherwise you were ripped off, big time).

I highly recommend Vigilante. It plays like Kung Fu with better graphics and 80's thugs. I think I paid 5 bucks for it, and was well worth it.

R-Type on the TG16 is probably the best port I've ever played of it. It has a little flickering at times, but if I remember correctly it doesn't have any slowdown. Personally I'm on the hunt for the R-Types CD.

Those are the only two hucard games I have, most of mine are cd.

Don't get Jack Nicklaus Golf... now that is a horrible game. It takes too long to redraw after a shot.

After Burner (decent conversion right up there with the Genesis one, but skip if you have it on Saturn)
Kyukyoku Tiger (mostly the same game as Twin Cobra, but it is one player with restart points... TC is a revision of the game that appeared after KT in the arcades.)

If you want to play Arcade or Super System Card CD games, you'll probably need the adapter. Fatal Fury Special is actually close to the Neo-Geo game from what I've heard.

I'm surprised there are a handful of Vigilante fans at TNL. Back in the day, most of my friends didn't like it. I think it's a fun beat 'em up and the TG16 version is the best home port of it.

The Amiga version was damn near arcade perfect.
