That's a different situation altogether. Halverson intentionally screwed people over repeatedly - subscribers, those who worked for him, cancer orphans, etc.

If you ask me it has nothing to do with what he did. It has to do with the pussy way he did it. All he had to do was be a man and post saying it's over, and he's sorry it didn't work out. Instead the little prick just blows everyone off and that's why people hate the midget.

He's not really even short, is he? I remember Lucas or someone saying that ECM was the one who started the short jokes to begin with, even though he's not really that short at all. Is that true?

Uh, I was kidding about the orphans, but there's plenty of documentation about the other stuff. I guess you could say that from my angle it's all hearsay, but come on. Every single person who worked or the guy (including a few who post here) just happened to get together and conspire to ruin his reputation? Seems unlikely. Were you there when he briefly appeared on GameGo?

I won't say the meltdown was cool, but it was hardly the worst thing in the world - as I recall, people were trashing him first, and he responded. It wasn't the best way to go out, but on the other hand I can sympathize. Really, how well would you handle losing your savings, job and having your life generally fall apart in the public eye? I think it's one of those things that would be hard to understand unless it happens to you.

For the curious ECM is 5'8".

Shortest dude in the business that I've seen is probably Mark Salzman. He's only around 5'5".
