So should I change my name?

I want to change my name on TNL to 'RENOVATION' (for all the goodness RENO put out back in the 16-bit days), what I call myself everywhere else on the 'net. I used the Taito name when I registered because 1.) some people from shoryuken.com who visit TNL know me by that name, and 2.) I didn't want to step on TNL regular 'Reno'. But shit, me (RENO) and him (Reno) both coexist on the Gaming-Age forum without confusion. Plus, Magatsu Taito from Mugen isn't as interesting as he was when I was a massive Blade of the Immortal fan a few years ago.

So should I re-register and standardize my usernames across the internet to minimize confusion? Or just leave well enough alone?

And if you don't care, shut up and don't enter my thread. Rather have this dumb topic sink to the floor with no replies than with snide remarks. Thanks.

I like Taito better.. but if you feel more comfortable as Renovation, it can't hurt to change. I recently changed to "sggg" at a different board for the same reason. One thing, I'd avoid the ALLCAPS though.

What's wrong with caps? I only go all-caps because that's how the RENO logo was written.

Eh, I'll give it some more thought before I go through the trouble of re-registering. It's just a frikkin name.

Well, hey Taito --- before you get all excited about registering a new name Taito, please be aware that we do not accept multiple accounts. Though in your case, it's a simple name adjustment...you do not need to register again. We can change the name for you upon receiving a PM (send to Nick, myself or Burgundy). This will also allow you to keep your post count. ;)

There is a strict guideline regarding duplicate accounts, especially if its associated with name adjustments. Just a heads up.

I dunno.. I just don't think it screennames look as good in ALLCAPS. Have you considered RENOvation? I think that's a little better. :)

I would stick with Taito. "RENOVATION" hardly has the same charm. I had actually thought you picked it because of the company.

If you change your name to RENOVATION, you'll have to change your avatar to Jamie Bunker from the Gaiares ad.
