I have heard through the grapevine from some fairly reliable sources that the price of Xbox is going to be reduced and soon. You guys hear anything like that and do you know when "soon" is? I want to buy one for all the great games that are on the console but I don't want to drop 200 bones and then see a price reduction..:rolleyes:
There was a thread about rumors concerning a price drop on all three systems a week or so ago... It was mentioned on gamesarefun.com, who got the rumor from EGM, apparently.
I figure a $150 price with 2 free games will sell a shit-load of consoles, including one to me.
There have been a few rumours floating around but I don't think they've been officially confirmed or denied.
For that price I may get one as well... but I'll probably continue to hold off until it's cheaper. I have no pressing need to get one yet. Eventually I will need one though. :)
maybe, just maybe i might buy a second box, then...i do love my multi-player halo...
$170 with Halo included would be a great idea, or go the Euro route and slap in Halo and Splinter Cell for $200 :)
It's too late to drop the console's US price for the all-important holiday rush - you see the "$200 + 2 free games!" ad everywhere nowadays.
It's NEVER too late to do anything for the holiday rush.
