Wake me up! Before you RC De GO! GO!

First, my apologies for the Wham! refrence.

Anyhoo, I've been playing this game recently, almost non stop and I feel like I've hit a brick wall in my skill level. So I need to take a break, and I figured it would be good to see what yall think about the game.

I am completely lovin' it. It's like Gran Turismo, but cooler, or more fun(IMO anyway). The racing is just a blast, fine tuned and quick. You really gotta have some driving skill later in the game. You cant just upgrade win upgrade win. Graphics are nice, the music is fun, though I kinda wish the were more sound tracks. My only big grip is the fact that there's no two player. It kinda reminds me of Super Off Road, in its perspective and arcady type gameplay, and the most fun I had with that was in multiplayer mode.

Last, whats up with the controller for it? I've heard that there is a special controller, and its made like an RC remote. I saw a weird playstation controller with a disc in the middle. That isnt it is it? the thing looks terribly uncomfortable.

I have never been able to find this game.

I see it on eBay often factory sealed, for less than ten bucks. Theres a MegaBuys place thats stationed near where I live that sells it for cheap. If you really want it, and cant get ahold of it, lemme know and I can probably find it easily for not much.

I had not paid much attention to this game for some reason... but looking at it now has piquedmy interest. I have always enjoyed RC games from RC Grand Prix for SMS to Revolt for Dreamcast.

Anyway, it's going on my list and I'll pick it up if I see it at a bargain price. :)

Just saw some ebay auctions for it that ran from $9 to $12. I'll wait until I check out Funco before bidding though.

I thought I had started a thread about this along time ago, but it must have been on TNL Ver2.0, anyway, I had a blast with this one, and although it gets a bit tough towards the end, I managed to complete the game with my suped up racer car. Although I was rather fond of the ambulance and steam roller.
