Yep, that's right. I loved the Evolution series on the DC. Something about that battle system was so addicting... And now, the semi-compilation comes. I can say right here, I don't care what reviews say, I'm nabbin' it. Anyone with me?

Well, I won't be getting it since I don't have a Gamecube.. but when I do get a Cube if I see it on the cheap I'll pick it up. I enjoyed Evolution for Dreamcast. I still have not gotten Evolution 2 yet though. I'd still count myself as at least .309 of the 3.483 other fans though. ;)
I'll be getting it, I have both of them on Dreamcast and my little NGPC one too :)
I really enjoyed the character designs at least. No GC for me either though.
Oh yeh, I forgot about the NGPC game... damn, another thing to add to the neverending shopping list...
Evolution is pretty neat.
I'll probably pick this one up eventually (ie. on the cheap) seeing as I still haven't finished either of the DC games...
Ah, d'ya have the Jap or Asian version of the NGPC game?Quote:

i cant wait for worlds.. since i never played the first one..
i hope they keep it subbed.. thats what i loved about the first one..
Actually the Europian version, I had to have the english version and since handhelds don't have different video signals like NTSC and PAL and no region lockout it is really easy to play :)Quote:

The first Evolution is one of my favorite RPGs ever. Never could get into the second one, it just lacked the charm of the first.
Neato! Me too. Can't shake the feelin' that I've asked you that before though... oh, well...Quote:

Still, I wonder if that new guy from Evolution 2 is gonna be in this game...
I was never able to "beat" Evolution. Is there an actual ending?
By the way... I am sooooooo gonna get this game.
if you already have both is there any reason to pick this up at all? even though i have no cube...
I need an excuse to play an Evolution game again.
I think all in the same situation think similarly.
I'm most definitely nabbing it for GC.
I played the first Evolution on DC and loved it, never played the second one. Are there going to be any improvements to the games? I think it's kind of funny that Evolution 1 is the first RPG on both Dreamcast and Gamecube.
In a Nintendo Power issue I have the developers said they redid the character models but it seems not by much, they look alittle crisper and tighter and I think they added some bonuses.
If you own the DC games, I don't see the point of buying this. If you don't own the DC games, you could probably get them for a $1 together, with both strat guides. I don't think the compilation makes any sense.
There is an ending to the first Evolution. Might even be two since after you beat it you can reload your save file and the game starts over with some changes, but I haven't beaten it a second time.
Naw, there's only one. You gain access to a secret dungeon and a limitless time to level up.
Kept ya busy 'til Part 2.
Love the Dreamcast games. Short and sweet. Will pick up EW eventually... need a GC first.
