Wheres the official thread for this movie? I saw it this past weekend and I must say I enjoyed it. It's not your typical run of the mil Disney movie which is a nice change. The animation/computer graphics were very cool. If you have seen any movie based on Treasure Island then you pretty much know what to expect only with a futuristic spin on it. Worth checking in my opinion.
I don't like how they say "It's star Wars meets treaure Island", never compare or contrast Star Wars with anything.
I enjoyed it. Can't touch Atlantis, though.

Well, I'm interested in seeing it, plus it conviniently playing in the theater 3 blocks away from my home :) Maybe we will go and see it.
Did it had any singing in it? Thats the part that bugs me in modern Disney movies, and I really liked how Atlantis, avoided that, and it made it much more enjoyable.
If you liked Atlantis then I think you'll enjoy Treasure Planet. As for singing, thankfully, no, there isn't any.

Wow, I didn't know there was anybody left who enjoyed Atlantis, I've only met people who said it sucked.
I thought Atlantis was alright, but I hoped it would've been a little better... some parts just made me go "WTF!"
As for Treasure Planet, I was really hyped about watching it, but that robot sidekick looks really annoying in the commercials.

Songs *make* Disney cartoons. And Lion King and Aladdin are the best animated movies ever, songs and all. Atlantis and this both look gay. Of course, most of Disney's recent movies in recent years suck. I just got Beauty and the Beast on DVD recently. Disney songs rock.
