I doubt it'll happen but I'd really like Rent-A-Hero to come to the US.
AWWWWW
I would like Rent-A-Hero to come to the U.S., mainly due to the fact I have never played it and it sounds interesting. But we are talking about a SUPER obscure Sega game, thats an Xbox port of a Dreamcast game. I don't see that having a snails chance in a salt factory of coming to the U.S.
Sadly, I think you're right. But a man can dream.
Hell, dreaming is what dreaming is all about!
doesn't realistic thinking suck ;)
Sorry but I just need to ask..
WHERE IS ALTERED BEAST??????????????
DAMN YOU SEGA!!!!
Well maybe those amazing Sales figures from Shenmue II will change their minds.
What the hell's with Vic? Is this just more anti-Sega animosity? Of course, he could just be an idiot, but either way, his head seems to be stuck firmly where it's warm n' squishy.
Vic is far more of an idiot than I thought. Someone who translates Japanese RPGs for a living should at least know what frickin' Phantasy Star looks like.
NeoZeed: At least you're now displaying quite possibly WD's greatest publication: Elemental Gearbolt. God I love that game.
I have to admit, Working Designs has brought over some awesome games and Elemental Gearbolt was their finest hour. Best gun game ever.
Working Designs also brought over Dragon Force, which is one of the best games ever.
I really want that game. I've been passively looking for it for a while but haven't found it :(Quote:

Try ebay?
WD has brought over many great games.... but it doesn't make Vic any less of an a-hole.
A Funco around here had a used copy for quite a few months, but no longer. Although I think it was missing the manual, which is such a gorgeous piece of art...Quote:

Yahoo auctions tend to be a treasure trove of rare gaming goodies as well.
I'm kind of a low budget gamer. I'll find it one of these days.Quote:

Ah, a fellow bargain-basement gamer. I feel your pain.
WD became shit after they went Sony-only.
BTW I thought Popfulmail was WD's finest hour.
The Lunar remakes were pretty decent.
Uh... on GBA.Quote:

Not that the original game was that great anyway, but... the new one looks so bad.
Popful Mail is ghetto Monster World in every way. I mean,I enjoy the game alot, but everything it di, MW did better, and you ought to know it. The dub and translation were good though, on WD part.Quote:

It's not nearly as much of a bastardization as Revenge of Shonobi was. Except for the awful characters, it's passable, given the lackluster source material. I mean it's bad, it's worse than the original, but not that much worse, and not untrue.Quote:

All this talk of the remakes yet none regarding Initial D and VF4 Evolution? :) I'm well up for both although I have neither the space nor the money for a steering wheel setup.
This is false. I do it at least twice a day.Quote:

I havent played Initial D yet , but I've heard it's been done by guys who worked on the original Ridge Racer? Does it play like RR?
I'm interested. I don't know too much about the game, strangely enough, however.Quote:

OT- But is elemental gearbolt playabale without the gun?
VF 4: Evolution should be great, but then again, I loved VF Remix as well, so it's not too tough to impress me.
Playable? Technically. But I found it ups the difficulty too much to really be playable or enjoyable. The only reason I tried it with the controller was because my PS gun died.
It supports analog control as well as digital.
I'd rather get the XB version of VF4Evo and play it on Live...
No. the XBOX is teh sux!
Yes, it is.
Amazing how the Smash Pack ports of games won't actually be the worst ones released thanks to the GBA ports.
Frog:
Yeah, I picked Popfulmail not because it was the best game, but because I thought it was the one game where WD's typically dumb translations/jokes helped the game.
Ah, ok. Fair enough. Also they didn't tamper with the gameplay in that one either, so that's another plus.Quote:
