In it, they quote sales of 250,000 copies. As an aside, it's interesting how they make a point of singling out "teen and mature" gamers.

How can you still have any faith when PDS only sold 10,000 copies?...how about JGR, Castlevania:SOTN, and a bunch of other "great" games that sold poorly...great games selling like shit happens everyday in gaming...Quote:
And those Metroid numbers are freaking depressing. It just can't do poorly. I don't have that much faith in mankind's intelligence left to lose.
Still, this game got more hype than those did. It SHOULD do better.
yuo guys have failed to mention that TRU did not advertise XBOX in their black friday sale mailer. For some reason they chose not to.
Ah yes...
It's called return on investment. :sneak:Quote:

YOU JACKASSES! I dont know who posted this but I work at Geoffrey/Toys R Us and the Reason why PS2,Test Drive,Tony Hawk4, GTA V, and Bomberman kicked so much ass was because they were in a BUNDLE DEAL.
Thats why we sold so damn many PS2s anyways. The system still would have killed everyone else but not by such a large margin. GameCube did better than Xbox because we had a bundle for that too.
Heres what the bundles were-
$279.99 Ps2 Tony Hawk 4, GTA Vice or Test Drive and a $30 starter kit thing
$199.99- Mario Sunshine Bundle pack + Bomberman
$199.99 same old Xbox.... no deals
I hope this clears some shit up.
Well done.Quote:

"So.. you guys still have the Xerox-Bubba-Octagon-Xerox Sega bundle?"
*Salesman clears throat* "Yes we do... follow me, please."
One day last week, another customer at some store was going on and on about how much they miss pack-in games. The sales associate didn't say a damn thing about some of the upcoming or existing packages available. Once I told them about the Xbox Sega bundle, they revealed that they LOVED Jet Grind Radio and bought the bundle then and there without thinking about it. They didn't even know about JSRF until I said something.
*Feels good about making someone's holiday season a little better*
You should be rewarded. :)
Xbox is a rather EASY system to sell these days. Seriously.
Wow, go Bomberman! :)
