I can't pinpoint the most fun I've ever had or the funnest thing I've ever done with a game. I can say I haven't laughed so hard in a while when a friend came over the other day and I tried to show him how to play RAD, and instead he just went about doing stupid poses and knocking over buildings.
So what is the most fun thing to do in a game, and the most fun you've ever had with others in a game?

Hmm fun...well here's some I can remember:
Goldeneye Killing Natalya and Dr. Doak over, and over, and over....
Chrono Trigger Kickin' ass in New Game + with all your characters maxed out, poor saps never stood a chance
Myth: The Fallen Lords PC Blowing shit up with the Wight and Dwarves
GTA3 Baseball bat. Upside people's head. Oh yes.
Basically killing somebody that usually is important, or killing somebody with a weapon that is WAY too powerfull are the best. Yeah violence is the answer :)

I'd have to say the whole waking around and wacking people with a baseball bat was the funniest thing I've seen in a game in a while. Its old now but damn it was funny then. Grand Theft Auto 3.

I would probably say overusing the gesture in Quake 3... especially if one uses the Patroit skin.
That or playing Empire Earth and just walking your army through someones base killing only one guy and leaving while chanting glorious victory. Online games can be so fun.

On the MGS theme remix in Beatmania append 2nd mix, spin the turntable at the end repeatedly for repeated moans from a woman's voice.
Or killing the innocents in any game, that's always fun.

The most fun I've ever had with a game? Hmm..Probably back when DDR 4th Mix was new and I was still really into DDR, one of my friends (Who's in her 40's and is a surgeon..I know interesting people) just got her machine so she invited a bunch of the old school NorCal crew over to her place for dinner and DDR. She has such an awesome house out in the hills. It's weird too. It's a 4 story house but you enter on the 3rd floor...REALLY weird. Anyways, it was fun just lounging around, eating pizza, making fun of each others routines, coming up with new, funny stuff for later tourneys. Just a great time.
Speaking of Vice City, some of the funniest things I have seen lately happened in that game. The first one was when I landed the chopper outside of the Ammunation for a quick reload. I ran inside, then I heard some shooting outside from a gang fight. A guy on a motorcycle was caught in the crossfire so he hit the gas to get away, but instead he nailed the tail rotor of the chopper that was sticking out into the street. He hit the ground leaving a chalk outline while his bike skidded down the street.
The other one was when a thug tried to carkjack me from the passenger side of my car. I tried to drive away but he managed to get in. I guess I was driving too fast for him to throw me out because he just sat there and screamed, and when I stopped he ran away like one of my carjacking victims.
Two of the best things to come out of quake 3 were custom skins made of Johnny Brovo and some weird player in a tent with "damn camper" painted on the side. :D

To get really old school, using the hypnotizer in Syndicate to turn all the civilians into mindless zombies that follow you around. You could get a huge crowd of people following you this way. Even better if you can arm a large number of them. A dozen bullets brings down enemy agents very quickly. That always amused me.

Bopping off genome soldiers while they're taking a leak in Metal Gear Solid is always good for a laugh.
My second character in Morrowind was insulted by a member of the mage's guild. It was at that moment that she decided to kill the entire population of Balmora. At once.
So, a couple dozen levels and countless hours later, she returned to Balmora and herded the better part of the populace into the town square with a custom command humanoid spell (Gospel) and rooted them in place with a damage strength spell (Gravity Blessing).
With her intelligence and willpower jacked up somewhere in tens of thousands, she loaded a specially crafted destruction spell: the aptly named Tiny Apocalypse. Taking careful aim from the top of a nearby tower, she let the spell fly.
40+ criminal reports popped up on the screen as each Balmoran issued a variety of death threats in her general direction. The game then then stuttered, chocked, and died -- frozen in spot.
Satisfying.
Morrowind... how could I forget. I remember the master enchanter, he was crazy. Once you meet him he starts punching you, but he's saying nice and dandy things while doing it. Eevntually he stops and then goes for a swim. You have to have calm humanoid handy if you are to train with him, and much of your learning will be done underwater durning his many swims. He'll still be punching you when he trains you though. I found that odd.
Summoning in Morrowind - especially fun when you manage that feat yourself... but it's more spectacular if you have the editor handy. Edit all of your (worn/equiped) items to Summon Golden Saint as a constant effect and then march them into Balmora... take aim on the nearest Guard who will without a doubt be running to deliver justice to you even though certian death awaits him at the hands of (count them) 12 Golden Saints. Fire of a bolt of "Blood Sucker" at your desired target and watch as your minions attack the poor bystander.
Yes, one could have fun in Morrowind.
After that, it was off to Vivec. Making very sure to don my Orinators Curias (leaving me minus one Saint) for good measure.
Beatin' up Vivec is cool too, just to say you did it.

I'm having tons of fun in WWE SmackDown: Shut Your Mouth by powerbombing people off of the giant fist on the SmackDown entrance ramp. Not to mention the fun of slamming people through a double stack of tables.
Backing Lara Croft into a corner so the camera would get wonky and you would see her boobers...

Smackdown 2 was more fun IMO.
It was really cool to make your own chracters and play them mutiplayer... give them personallity and everything.

SD 2 was the best in the series. This series has actually gotten worse as it progressed, even though the gameplay has improved with every game.
-Playing Final Fantasy Tactics with friends in the background and ad libing dialogue to the battles. Yell "SURGE!!" (like the soda) whenever someone gets Haste. Use a Sean Connery accent for TG Cid.
-Picking up and sucessfully annihilating the rest of opponents with a flashing Electrode pokemon in Super Smash Brothers Melee. I don't think I won the match, but I was king for a day for having the balls to pick one up and chuck it.

Probably the funnest i have with a game is when it glicthes up, and does wacky stuff that it isn't supposed to.
Like falling into the infamous "void" in various games, and not being able to escape. Or that one part of Tomb Raider 3 where you do a running jump into this one room, and you cant get out XD
Or when everything messes up on a cartridge, and goes all pixellated, and you cant tell whats going on....
I like running around and hitting people with the brass knuckles in Vice City. Such a nice sound effect. Bums asking for change go down in one hit though; not very satisfying. Guess they're too hungry to fight back.
Posing wrestlers in compromising positions. Very funny.
I loved one of the missions in Vice City early on when you have to kill that guy on the golf course, and you are on a high speed chase... in fucking GOLF carts. Then I beat the guy to death with a golf club. Yes.
Also, the first time you play Die Hard Trilogy, and you drive on the sidewalk in first person car mode. For the uninitiated, the innocents (there are a LOT of them) splatter on your windshield, and you turn on your wipers to clear off the blood.
The funnest though, would be beating the chickens in Zelda: A Link to the Past until an army of chickens came and kicked your ass.

Me and my friend were play with this for hours.
We would make a skit like... Ummm... o yeah, we would knock this guy out and start "doing" him and then leave and do part of the mission, then partway through come back and do him a lil bit more and finish the mission, the when we came back at the end just a couple more pumps and leave, we were rolling on the floor
Glitches can sometimes make an entire game. I have had countless hours laughing with friends because of glitches. I would probably have to say that the first Driver was the king of Glitching. It was so damn funny whenever you played survival mode, and the police just would stop at nothing to get to you. The game would glitch up if you hit cars a certain way, sending your car flying up into buildings and having weird graphics abound. This was only amplified by the fact that the game included that great replay editor. I made a short video taking 3 great instant replays and spliced it together to Duel of the Fates from Star Wars Episode 1. Good stuff.Quote:

Capcom vs Snk 2- naked Yuri custom color and Vice's lick taunt equal depraved fun.
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures: Pissing Pac-Man off by persistently peltering him with the sling shot. To watch him just lose it like that is more fun than playing the game properly. :lol:
Giga Wing: Giving the enemies a taste of their own lead using the Reflector Force, then scooping up the ensuing cascade of medals.
GTA 1: Blocking off a street using a bus, then getting out of it and spraying all vehicles in sight with a machine gun. :sneak:
Soldier of Fortune: In the first mission, you will see two terrorists under arrest by the police. Blow 'em away execution style.
Streets of Rage 2: Just simply beating the snot out of every thug who is unlucky enough to cross your path.
Lethal Enforcers: Playing with BOTH guns (warning- this will cause the difficulty to rise insanely).
i had a lot of fun with the sentence generator in phantasy star online..

In Half-Life, I liked saving the game in front of a scientist standing by a wall and then putting a bullet through his head. The way he went slowly down as the blood splattered on the wall was...amusing.

Sitting around with my friends one night on IM and taking the names of any game we could think of and pervertedly twisting the name of it- "Need for Seed", "Sex-Wing vs. Tie-me-up Fighter", "Mario Orgy", "Dick Stickem: Atomic Insertion", "Blown in the Dark", etc. I know that didn't happen while actually playing a game, but I thought it kept in the spirit of this thread...
BTW, I have a massive list of these sick game titles saved...should I post 'em? We can have a contest to see if people can figure out all the real names... :)

In Burnout 2, it just soo fun to cause major crashes. Or just to play Crash mode and see if you can get a Gold when staging most damaging crash you can.

OK, this might not count because it only involves playing the game compleatly normally, but I get endless amusement from Sega's Marine Fishing listening to my ship mate comment on my catch. The voice sample for "good fish" is priceless. :)
Blowing away the innocent guys chained up to the walls in Blackthorne. My favorite was the behind-the-back shotgun blast to the head. Chucking bombs at them was fun too.
Cueing up Theater Mode in Tekken 3, selecting Tiger Jackson's disco dancing ending, calling a friend's voicemail and playing the entire ending into the phone. The next day they're always like, "WTF was that?!?". :lol:
"Would you like some house music? Okay!"
It's always amusing to play a 2D fighter and try to pause just at the right frame of female fighters' kicks. :D
And how could I forget: Killing Slippy in N64 Starfox is just about the most satisfying thing ever.
The best thing to do was to save the guys, get the item from them... then start to walk away. As they're starting to feel all happy and safe from having just been saved by you, then you do the behind the back shotgun blast and blow them away. ;) Yes, I was truly evil in that game.Quote:

Holding up a Genome soldier, aiming the tranq gun at his head and when he says he doesn't believe you'll kill him, pull out the Stinger Missile launcher and watch him wet his pants. Hell, half the diversionary tactics in MGS2 are a hoot. The other more violent fun is in the first level of Halo. Shoot Captain Keyes in the the head and see how many of your own Marines you can take out in a blaze of glory as they scream you've gone insaine.
Playing Worms World Party with three other people is the ultimate. You couldn't play without laughing so hard you would start crying.

Goldeneye, running through fire with guns blazing, blowing up windows. Archives: one of the best levels ever made.
Quake: Unbelievable multiplayer when it first came out. The best is getting a rocket launcher and going on a rampage...run into a room with 8 people fighting and wipe 'em off the damn map.
GTAIII- running from cops trying to knock them into the water, or just trying to make them crash.
Warcraft III- Either beating the shit out of someone (total domination) or a fight that goes back and forth, with the winner making the one right move to pull it off (usually lasts about an hour).
Earthworm Jim 2 - bouncing the puppies on the pillow. Seeing them go splat if you miss.
GTA 3 - Seeing who can have the longest car chases amongst my friends.
Back in the day, I used to have a blast playing Ultima 7 and playing around with the hack mover. I still remember in Part II, I was able to move the crematory lever, trapdoor and "urn generator" into my backpack. I went around cremating entire towns and replacing the people with the corresponding urn of ashes.
More recently...
Battlefield 1942 - using an engineer, sneaking into enemy camps, finding a jeep, loading explosives into the back of the jeep and then hiding in nearby building. I wait until an opponent starts the jeep and ... BOOM! :D
Splinter Cell - playing 'basketball' with cans and trash cans
Playing GTA3 while listening to church music.

In the very first stage, in the corrider with the very first guard, shooting out the lights, putting on your night vision, picking up a soda can, watching him stumble blindly for you then right at the perfect moment while he's walking in the wrong direction, throwing the soda can and wacking him off the head with it knocking him out.
Then coming back later and shooting him in the face when he wakes up, therefore destroying your best laid plans this side of america.

I haven't been able to do anything with cans. They bounced off the face off the only unfortunate souls I've tried to hit with the can. Lights seem impervious too.
Beat up the chickens in Zelda Link to the Past and get attacked by an angry mob of chickens :)

Well in the demo you can.
Maybe they took it out.
But Josh and I have done it like four times in the demo. Maybe their back's have to be turned.
OK, maybe. In the demo, cans also took out lights but in the real game they bounce off harmlessly.
