What Have You Killed The Most?

This is a pretty strange question, but here - in the entirety of the time you've spent playing videogames (since you began playing videogames), what type/species/genus of enemy do you think you've killed the most?

I thought of this while I was killing bandits in Mark of Kri today...began to wonder whether I had killed more humans than anything else.


I've divided up the categories into Humans, Mutants/Zombies (altered humans), Aliens/Monsters/Animals, Robots/Machines/miscellaneous.

Once you vote, post and say why you made the choice that you did. I chose humans, mostly because of all the time I spent playing Doom and Quake online.

Monsters for sure. Angband and Nethack alone have probably put me up there in the millions, and despite playing quake et al online for years, I doubt my human bodycount is that high.

On the other hand, I consider most of the people who play online to be Mutants...

Probably machines/robots due to hanging around the mines a crapload in PSO and from tons of shmups.

Stupid Aliens! Stay the hell out of the Fantasy Zone, or many more battle scenes will soon be availible. Get Ready!

This is me. And more specifically: Quake III Patriot. A friend (who ALWAYS chose Patriot) & I had a sick DC Q3A addiction for a while, hunting down and blowing each other into fine red paste for hours on end.

I've probably killed my friend's Patriot incarnation THOUSANDS of times, on-line and off.

Monsters/Aliens/Animals and the like. There seems to be no shortage of them in most games.

I voted for humans, because of all the time I've spent playing FPS games, and GTA, but I have killed my fare share of robots....

I play and adore action platform games, shooters and fighters. So robots and humans in the form of grunt soldiers and/or martial arts warriors make up the majority of my body count. Haven't killed too many mutant aliens, undead monsters or sorcerers in my 15-year murderous rampage.

I have committed Xenocide more times than I care to admit...

To clarify, as far as I'm concerned, the planes/tanks/whatever in shmups should count in the robots/machines category.
