When his partner asked him where he was going, it would have been awesome if Preston answered, "I have to return some videotapes.".

I think he either still had puppy hidden in his car, or his son was taking care of puppy and had it hidden somewhere.
I like Bale in all the films I seen with him, American Psycho, Reign of Fire and Equilibrium. He has both good acting skills and ability to do and look cool in action.
Don't forget his badass role in Shaft! Well my female friend borrowed the film and provided me some comments last night. She really enjoyed the film -- as I suspected she would -- and felt it could have done okay in the theater. we both talked about how difficult it is to tackle a concept such as emotions and how that didn't completely work, but she liked the action scenes and felt it was very unique...Quote:

I still maintain that the ending is one of the coolest deaths ever -- when Bale slices off Diggs face...that is so sweet. He says something like 'watch the suit" and bam within a few seconds, Diggs is dead. Damn sweet!
It makes me think that maybe Bale was just toying with him when they were fighting earlier and that maybe he knew all along that Diggs was trying to set him up...
The great part about that fight was how fast it actually ended. You really expect this big, long battle between to enemies, and it comes as a surprise that it ends this quick.
Diggs character said "Don't mind the Suit".
I was thinking the same thing, considering how easily Bale killed Diggs off...perhaps he knew that he might be a potential foe sometime soon, so Bale let him get the upper hand in their pratice duel to make him overconfident.Quote:

At least Bale didn't burst into the final room at the end of the movie naked and weilding a chainsaw. ;)
I was both amused and dissapointed that Diggs died so quickly...
I was wanting a long, drawn out fight sequence, but didn't get it.
But the close-range gunkata fight with "father" more than made up for it
That would have made a hell of a ChainSaw-Kata sequence :lol:Quote:

Actually, if you think about it, Bale actually DID do a ChainSaw-Kata-like thing in American Psycho! Remember near the end when the hooker was running down the stairwell and Bale stopped at the top and started tracking her movements with the saw, eventually dropping the it at the exact right moment so that it would hit her when she reached the bottom? :)
That what I call a Perfect Aim
I just rented and watched EQ, and I will quote two different people, to sum up my feelings...
