Ristar, fuckers. Best platformer on a Sega platform to date.
For the record, I can't see what the hell was good about Astal. I mean, it was a 2D platformer in an (early) 3D era, so I wonder if that influences people opinions of it.
Ristar, definitely Ristar. Astal's graphics were great, really great - but that's all the game has going for it.
*Shakes fist*
Skullmonkeys!
Yeah, put Skullmonkeys up there!
Isn't it true that Ristar is included in the Sonic Mega Collection for GC? That's pretty awesome.....
Has anyone ever played Super Tempo for (import) Saturn?
Psst, guess which one I picked ;)
I assume TTA means Buster Busts Loose for SNES? That's what I voted for, anyway.
I don't really like the other games. Astal is pretty, and pretty boring. Bonk is crap. Tempo is even duller, which I didn't think possible. Ristar didn't leave much of an impression on me when I played it in '95. And for the life of me I can't understand Dynamite Headdy worship.
My, aren't I hard to please? :P
BBL is better than Bonk!? That's just crazy talk. BBL is floaty, unresponsive and many things about it just feel kinda weird. It has some really cool levels (like the football game), and the "dash through the whole game" play mechanic is cool, but it ain't no Bonk.
Man. Two posts about mascot platformers in the span of 24 hours. I must be getting soft.
Ristar and that's final. Play with me!
