The thing I have noticed about the Bonk games is that people who played them back when they came out tend to like them and people who played them years later tend to hate them. It's like that for a lot of old games but moreso than average with Bonk.
I'm a big fan of Bonk(mostly the first game) but I don't know if I would call it underrated. The games are pretty well-known despite low popularity of the TG16.
Yeah, it was a magazine-cover-gettin' system seller, but it's hard not to look at that poll and just vote like "what's the best game on that list?"Quote:

I don't know if you're being serious, but I for one would wholeheartedly agree. Super Magnetic Neo was one of the best platformers I've played, period. It's also ridiculously underrated.Quote:

Ristar is great stuff, too, and would get my vote.
About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I actually played through Astal again. My recollections of the game were confirmed: very pretty, great music, but exceedingly simplistic. It got boring very quickly.
Astal gets my vote. I found the simplistic gameplay to be fun, and the graphics are just jaw dropping. The music is beautiful, and the control is great.
Dynamite Headdy - Over rate peice of garbage
Tiny Toon Adventures - SNES or Genesis? Both are average.
Bonk's Adventure - Meh
Super Magnetic Neo: Trash.
Ristar: Better than all these games combined.
Blues Journey is the definition of an underated platformer.
Ah. That's one of the few Neo games that I played in the arcade but never got at home.Quote:

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed by it. It was pretty and funny, but there wasn't alot of substance. ;)Quote:

Psst, guess which one I picked ;)
Also I agree... Skullmonkey's should be up there... but since it isn't I voted for Ristar.
Wha no SNES Plok? eh I'm sure not many people have played it, which is a shame.
