Read on, ChartTrack complied a list of the 20 top selling games for the week ending December 7th.

Wow, Metroid Prime isn't even on the top 20... I mean even though I don't seem to be a GC supporter around here, I really do love the thing, and especially Prime. I can't believe it's not still selling, I mean they're still marketing the crap out of it :/ Anyway, glad to see Splinter Cell doing well. And I can't believe Halo is still selling like it is... that's just insane.

I think a lot of Halo's sales might possibly be coming from people like me who got the new bundle... and if you buy an Xbox, it's almost a rule that you HAVE to buy Halo.

I'm still surprised that it's so high on the list. Fun as Halo is, it's not online like SOCOM or Unreal.

Monsters Inc? That movie came out last year!

Why is Steel Battalion not rocking the list? This is an outrage!

Sarcasm aside, that list has no taste. I'd state why Metroid Prime should be at number one, but it would seem I am not the primary demographic of videogame purchasing. Or at least I would guess at such since I don't own a damn thing on the entire list (but three of them do interest me).

Upon closer look at the list, this has to be the European sales charts:

10 (10) Pro Evolution Soccer 2 (PS2, PSone)
11 (14) Dancing Stage Euromix (PSone)
15 (12) Colin McRae Rally 3 (PS2, Xbox)

Anyway, Metroid isn't out there, so there we have it, the general populous isn't quite as stupid as we thought :)

Europia has good taste in games.

Not to mention that WRC 2 is on the chart, and WRC bombed here if I remeber correctly. Jesus ANDY way to do some freakin' research! I was wondering how Fifa 2003 made it to number 3. If this was the US chart, we'd see NBA Live 2003, Madden 2003, NHL 2003, and NBA2K3 on the charts instead.

It looks like this sales chart lists by game name. I mean why is the Harry Potter GBA game grouped with the PS2 one, same with Lord of the Rings. Of course the game with multi-platform release are gonna be way ahead of anything else. I wonder what it would look like if all of those releases were separated.

I was gonna say, "Wow, that's totally bizarre" but then, as Andy said, it's a Euro list.

This list must be foreign or bullshit, because there's no way in hell a Fifa game is outselling a new Tony game, and it's just not possible that Metroid Prime or RE0 aren't in the top 20 sellers. They're selling really well.
