I went into GameStop today to pick up a used copy of Einhander I saw there last time, but I found this puppy brand new for $25, so I couldn't pass it up :D Anyway, what're your guys' feelings about the game?
I haven't played it yet myself, but the artstyle is very interesting, and the characters/atmosphere looks very fucked up, which is also interesting :)
Hella nice.
Some of the boss battles require unneccesary amounts of leveling up though.
Sits patiently, as he is completely lacking knowledge of said title, and intends to find out about it.

i absolutely love the art for this game. specifically, the character portraits. a persona 2 artbook was released in japan, and it's very stylish.. if you have the means, i highly recommend picking it up.
i haven't played the game in a while, so i don't have much to say about it. it does have some interesting concepts, though. i should probably finish it sometime.

The farthest I got into it was watching the developer interviews and the first 10 minutes. Unfortunately, there are other games screaming for my attention in my pile of shame.
Unfortunately I haven't played this game yet, but has always been on my list of games to check out. Do you need to play the first Persona to enjoy the second?
This is one of my top PSX games Andy. I wouldn't worry so much about leveling up. Instead focus on which Persona's go where. That tends to help you out much more than any given level your characters may be. The story and characters are pretty tight, at least for as far as I've seen (which is toward the end). Twenty-five bucks new is a good buy.
Superstition: There are perks for you if you've played the first Persona, but you needn't have played it to enjoy this.
i bought it when it first came out. i love the story and atmosphere. i haven't played it in months though. the battle system is pretty deep. so many options. but it gets kinda tedious trying to balance talking to the demons and fighting them just to get up enough experience. over though, it's a great game.
Brandi loves this series, though, I have 0 interest in it.
